I was browsing the HHP "dream addresses" and I came across this:

I thought we were allowed to have 1 roommate ...how come there is three?

Or is Sable and Mabel considered one?

I’m not sure, but I’d assume that when inviting special characters via amiibo they automatically stay with their family based on what i’ve seen in HHD. Example: scanning Don would have Don and Resetti stay together, and scanning Kapp’n would have kappn, his daughter, grandma, and his wife stay together. Just a guess though.

Mabel's Amiibo worked like this for me in Happy Home Designer. I was doing a house for all three of them. I don't know if that's what is going on here, but it's possible it is?

Some NPC Amiibo comes in set when you scan them in. The Able Sisters is one of them.
I can't remember them all but a couple more are:
Joan/Daisy
Flick/C.J.

Some you scan in when automatically bring in others. I believe this is only for NPCs on some of them.

What?! How is that even possible. I thought only 2 NPCs were allowed.
