Underrated Villagers?

I suppose that's true. I never watched the video so I don't know if they included a disclaimer like that (I really hope they did). I will say though that I find it super annoying because there are bound to be people who are influenced by those videos, and it just makes villagers that are already unpopular even more hated.

That’s understandable. There are definitely people influenced by anything they see online, though. It really can’t be stopped unfortunately.

This is so true, especially when a large portion of the AC community is very young they can be influenced very easily. I've see instances where kids were afraid to say which villagers they actually liked for fear of being judged; it's very sad

I have Katt on my island and she will never leave. At first sight of her I thought she was ugly but since she was the only Sisterly cat I felt compelled to get her on my island. I've genuinely really gotten to like her. She's so expressive and those tiny fangs are cute. Her personality perfectly fits her appearance.

My cousin's 8 year old stepkid has Cube, Tammi, and Hippeux and actually likes them all. She hated Hippeux at first sight though but got to like him later. He has a scholarly looking house at least. She never wants to get rid of Cube and adores him.

Buck, Al and Roscoe.
Buck - He was my starter along with Ursala and I knew from Day 1 he was a keeper. I love to see him working out on the plaza and hear him to to villagers about his fitness regimes. Maybe it's his colour
Al - I think a lot of people are put of because of tummy and behind, but personally I think it's funny and cute. It fits Al's style perfectly as he's a lazy personality.
Roscoe - I love when he tells me stories about him trying to use technology. He says something like a smart watch wouldn't tell me what to do. Also, the story he tells about him and his Pops trying to fix a broken radio. It makes him all the more adorable as he doesn't look the sentimental type.

One of my favourite villagers of all time is Del. I feel like the alligator villagers are not as beloved as other animal villager types like cat, wolf or deer. Out of the gators, Del is probavly one of the more "forgettable" ones. I am pretty biased for my love of reptilians, but what I find the coolest about Del is that he is not organic. That's right, just like Cephalopod, Sprocket and Ribbot, Del is made of metal and has a nautical theme which I also find pretty interesting. His picture depicts him in a sailor uniform, which gives him a cool backstory as well.

del's name in japanese is yamato, so he's themed after the battleship! he's one of my favs also he's so cool his eyes glow in the dark like the robo-villagers too

i feel like the robos are all underrated, i love that they have such a smooth shiny texture to their skin. at the end of the day though i feel like the whole "ratings" "tier list" side of acnh fandom is so weird like....they all have the same personalities and recycled dialogue lines....just pick who you personally think is cute/cool...damn....thats part of why i like reading threads like this, usually ppl's faves are ones who they have nice stories and attachment to, it's very cute

anyways my personal fave who i wish i saw more is RADDLE. cute baby frog with sad eyes who is also a medical professional

prince!! i was kinda of ehhh when he appeared as one of my starters before but he grew on me lol - then again, i think the lazy islander/villager type was always cute to me and easy to get along with. so maybe it's not too much of a surprise. i guess it would be like... his design? it really did not strike me as cute at all when i started, but somehow became endearing overtime haha.

Peaches deserves some more love. Personally I think she's cute and I loved how on Happy Home Paradise her theme was "gentle vibe and roundness." And it was even called a "Shrine to Roundness."

Oh gosh there are so MANY underrated villagers. I feel like Bones is just now getting the love and attention he deserves.

Ozzie is my second favorite villager and it’s a super close tie between him and Bones. They are both so adorable and sweet.

Nana the normal pink monkey is so cute! She’s very underrated in my opinion.

I think another underrated villager is Hornsby, he is absolutely a cutie. Papi also adorable and underrated.

I think a lot of the villagers I have on my island are underrated like Lobo, Shari, Portia, and Melba.

I also love Coach just a sweet ol’ man cow doing his best. He always wears my ridiculous outfits I give him and I love him for that.

oh my god so many !! it's no secret that rodney is my favourite villager by a mile, but i don't know if he counts as underrated as people are more than aware of his existence, they just usually hate him. he deserves more love !! look at his face !!
also backing up tiffani with the ozzie love - he was consistently on my dreamie list back in NL

There are so many! There are over 300 villagers, but you'd think there were only like 40 by visiting Dream Islands.

Mac, Tank, Rodeo, Monique, Claudia, Tiffany, Gloria, Pashmina, Henry, Jacques, Diva, and Pompom are favorites of mine I hardly ever see. Plus every single lion villager.
