Unrealistic dream jobs?

Astrophysicist, I would never be hired and would be in debt forever

Good news however, we have a NASA department here so there’s always a slight chance

Paleontology. Was my dream job for a while and still is- sadly it's just unrealistic. 50/50 chance of making it in the field plus YEARS of schooling and training and working in the field before anyone even CONSIDERS hiring you. It's just a lot of work for such a small chance. I'd love to be a paleontologist one day though, but I doubt that'll happen.

Hey, at least I can collect fossils for my own personal collection and still enjoy dinos.

Due to moderate autism, I cannot get a job anyway, so all jobs would be impossible for me really XD
But in this case, probably a surgeon (I cannot stand that many organs and litres of blood irl!), politician (idk, it's just that you're put under so much pressure among other politicians with so many different opinions), or midwife. (Childbirths always succeed in making me weep big-time, plus graphic imagery once again!)

An unrealistic dream job for me would be becoming a therapist. I've counseled quite a few people, and some strangers. Not just the general 'here's my advice'. I like trying to dissect how they feel, why, how it could have come up, etc. I did the research for them and put together information to help them out.

Though unfortunately, therapists often suffer from depression from what they hear. I don't think I would like having to hear of the horrid things people go through day after day. That can take a toll on you!

- Model. I'm extremely ugly.
- Musician, either solo or in a band (although I like some singers with "bad" voices, I can't even play an instrument)

I got to be involved in one of my dream jobs and worked as professional for long. It helped me financially. Later I was somewhat forced to change my job due to father passing away and just started getting used to it. So it's a bit too late for me to change the job in reality. In that term it can be called as dream? If it was possible, I would really want to be a vet. Very skillful veterinarian, that's my dream job.

Probably anything that would require a massive amount of schooling-- I've thought about getting a PhD in virology, for instance, or going to med school and becoming a pathologist. But neither of those is really worth it to me. :/ Huge amounts of debt, a long time spent in school, and (in the case of being a virologist) I'm not sure what I'd do with it. I don't think I'd want to go into academia, but I wouldn't really want to work for a pharmaceutical company, either.

I might eventually go to grad school at some point, but for right now I'm content to work in another field and see what I wind up doing.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN UNREALISTIC JOB :D U CAN BE WHOEVER U WANNA BE AND DONT GOTTA WORRY ABOUT WHAT ANYONE THINKS, IF U WANT TO BE A CRAB INSEMINATOR THEN JUST GO ON AHEAD DEARIE, LIVE YOUR DREAMS, GOLD STARS FOR EVERYONE

This person got it 100% right lol.

Nothing's unrealistic! if you want something, you get it. I always wanted to be a doctor, so I worked hard for med school and in a couple years I'll graduate as a real doctor! Meanwhile I've always enjoyed music and always wanted to be a DJ so now I'm a DJ/artist as well!

Once again it's all about putting in the effort and working hard.

A popular artist- I just don’t think I have the talent to pull that off lol, it would require a lot of luck and hard work.

My dream job is wife of terminally ill multimillionaire who loves me and will pass everything to me.

Being owner of a animal shelter that is like a little paradise for the animals while they are stuck there.
It would sadly cost millions, so no way it will ever happen.. :/

when i was younger i wanted to be an olympic gymnast :) i mean i still do gymnastics and i definitely have improved but i don't think it's that easy lol. nowadays i wanna become a graphic designer or a youtuber but it'll be hard and it's always difficult to get popular in the art branche

I didn't really have one, but my mom and her siblings definitely had interesting ones. My mom wanted to be an astronaut, my first aunt wanted to be a cashier (that never happened, she worked at a waterpark during her teen years), and my other aunt wanted to be a dog, specifically a Dalmatian

Be an indie game designer with a nice studio and financial stability due to the success of your debut game.

I'm lookin at you, Toby Fox

Criminal investigator without the investigator.

My dream job for a while was a sports analyst, until I realized that the United States isn't ready for my hot takes
