VC Server

Okay so I went to go scan the server for new games (I was going to try to determine the system code for Neo Geo), but it looks like they've changed the URL or at the very least the servlet page that delivers the game data. Most distressing. Hopefully someone can hit upon the right URL to start looking for games again. As it stands now I don't think I'll be able to look anymore until I get better info.

I may have spoken too soon. Looks like I can still scan for images on the server, but I can't look at any game details. I still should be able to find some new stuff, just might be a little different. Still, they definitely did change the normal game URL to something else.

I hope you can find something. I remember Ekoms posting "Neo Geo worldwide release: Sept 24" a few days ago, so it might still be possible. Yeah, Japan got it already, but for the rest of the world it could still be possible.

You know, I really do think we're going to be getting Neo Geo games this coming Monday. I definitely didn't get any inside scoops from my rep (not yet at least) so this is all just a hunch. I really do hope to see the games up soon, even though I think they're priced a bit too high.

Hey Papa, I guess I was more of a rookie as far the Nsider boards go. I was just a couple posts short of being a Snifit. I was always a fan of "The Stingy Gamer" though. I find myself able to post off and on usually only during windows of downtime at work. Plus I usually only post when I feel like I could contribute/explain something so I sometimes just lurk. Amarriner and I put in a semi-good run on MarioNintendo's guess that title screen game thats when I met him.

Hey Papa, I guess I was more of a rookie as far the Nsider boards go. I was just a couple posts short of being a Snifit. I was always a fan of "The Stingy Gamer" though. I find myself able to post off and on usually only during windows of downtime at work. Plus I usually only post when I feel like I could contribute/explain something so I sometimes just lurk. Amarriner and I put in a semi-good run on MarioNintendo's guess that title screen game thats when I met him.

Hehe yeah that was pretty fun. Actually it went really fast, too!

Thanks Papa I appreciate the welcome. I too hesitate to label someone a "n00b". I t seems so insulting. I always enjoyed your reviews before, actually thats probably why you didnt see too many responses from me - I had nothing to disagree with you on! Plus as I say before I was only on the Nsider boards around 3 months so I guess I'm not exactly old school, but thanks to TBT for giving me a chance to become further acquainted!
