Aww. Don't worry, I'll be streaming more for sure (I tend to do it nearly every time I draw) so I bet you can see it if you'd like. And if you do, I really hope that it will help you learn some stuff.

Stream offline for now.

Big thanks to everyone who joined!

Here's what I got so far:

Dang I missed it but I love the aspect of the picture. He looks rebellious(what he's rebelling against?).

Don't worry! Thank you. And, well, it's a long thing to explain, I am writing a long story (a trilogy) and this is a picture related to the 2nd one. But basically, rioting against the dictatorship in their country, which wants to use a nuclear weapon against their enemy (which the protagonists are heavily against because they know it will spiral things into hell, as the enemy also has a similar weapon at their disposal and launching theirs would result in a deadly nuclear exchange.) The characters on this picture (the eyepatch guy and the one on the left in black shirt) are former soldiers that have been banished from the country, but they're back and angry at what's been done: both in terms of politics and in terms of what's been done to them, they were supposed to be executed but managed to escape to a different country, all because they were against dictatorship - they actually served the country a great deal and freed it before. On top of that, lots of bitterness because of being separated from their family, child, etc.

I would have to explain a lot to give you the whole backstory behind this image, but I don't think anyone wants to read a wall of text. xD

Also, I think I'll be streaming again today, in a little bit. 2-3 hours from now on most likely.

I don't mind reading lol. You can always put everything in a spoiler tab tbh. Other than that, everything sounds interesting so far.
I'm working on a story myself. Well not entirely myself but for my older sister who's a studying to be a story board animator. My job is to just design characters and help with their plot. Having people revolting against their government is part of it so I always love looking at other aspects of it orz.

And what went over your head?

I was gonna use chat, but I couldn't think of anything to say ^_^;;

And basically everything did XD I dropped by towards the end and the whole picture (which is absolutely amazing btw) it just looked so complicated @_@

Hey Vex, yeah it said I didn't need to register but when I wanted to use the name Seroja and it said that was taken, I sorta gave up on the chat lols. So yeah I enjoyed the stream immensely and I was really intrigued by Mr Eyepatch's back story. At first it didn't cross me that you were gonna draw him, but once you started on the face I was like, oh it's him again. And considering how many pieces on him you've done, I started wondering if you have some sort of story going for him and I'm really happy that you wrote some of it here.

I can really feel the despair and chaos in that piece. And I'd absolutely love to read the whole story or like a summary of it if you're willing to share? Yeah

Good luck! I love stories about rebels, haha. And well, I can put a summary since I see Seroja asked for one too, so I'll put it at the bottom of the post.

Aw, don't be afraid to join next time, I actually love talking to people. And sorry about that! This is one of the more complicated things I ever drew because I wanted to get out of my comfort zone, so it may look a bit weird to watch.

Hey! And you can always try a different name if you'd like to chat, but that's cool if you don't want to. But if you do join, just hit me up and say you're Seroja. <3 And haha, yep, he is my main character along with the other one so I tend to draw him a lot. It helps character development and I just sort of grew attached to him, given I've created him 7 years ago.

And I figured nobody would be interested in the story, but since you are, it will be my pleasure to show you guys a summary. Like I said it's a trilogy, but I don't want to spoil too much, so here is a small summary I wrote for someone who asked a while ago, describing the beginning of the first story.

As for names, Sven is the dude with a mohawk from the first post (and the one wearing a black shirt in the WIP) and Xepher is the Mr. Eyepatch.

Summary of the beginning:
They are two of the more important revolutionists in an uprising a few years before the actual story begins, they took part in the war resulting from it and contributed to freeing their country from southern occupation. And even though the north was independent for the first time in over twenty years, the leader who took over the country afterwards quickly devolved from a revolutionist - into a dictator. Being soldiers under his command however, the two stayed loyal to him, being patriots and remaining blinded by it.

The actual story begins here.

Shortly after the war, the north started working on a nuclear weapon project, mysteriously codenamed ORCA. 5 years after the end of the war, the prototype of ORCA gets hijacked by the south, along with the lead scientist working on it being taken hostage. NSU, the unit the above 2 characters are in command of, gets sent on a mission to retrieve the stolen goods as they are of utmost importance to the country. The operation is only a success in half: the weapon goes back into the north's hands, however the hostage is killed. South isn't afraid to retaliate for invading their borders, either, bombing the radio tower in the northern capital just 2 days after. A radio tower which broadcasted propaganda boasting about success of a mission that was supposed to be top-secret.

To Sven, Xepher and their allies, it soon starts becoming clear as they piece the discrepancies all together: That was no secret at all, the whole situation was just a ploy to ignite conflict between both sides and they were merely the pawns in this whole scheme. With constant provoking from both of the states, the situation escalates into war in merely 2 months. Using their loyalty as a last weapon, the dictatorship sends NSU to defend a building being attacked by the south. However, the mission is nearly impossible to pull off for a small special forces unit - and the government is well aware of that. But their loyal puppies have caught on their lies, so the only option is getting rid of them and making it seem as if it was the south's fault.

The plan succeeds to an extent: the south's offensive slaughters nearly the whole elite unit, a group that used to be the north's pride. However, 4 men survive and are forced to flee to save themselves. Sven is enraged at how their own country, the one they've been loyal to and made sacrifices for, dared to do this to them and their comrades. He is absolutely fed up with the lies, and together with Xepher and the other 2 that survives, decides to desert and betray the country that betrayed them first. With the desire to avenge the lives of their comrades and to bring justice and freedom to their land, the four form a small resistance group independent from any other power - and while treated as a joke by the two states at first, they grow in power quickly enough to become a formidable threat.

The scene from the WIP takes place around 13 years after what I've described, though.

Hey, streaming like I promised. Sorry it took me so long, won't probably be long today either. I was busy helping a friend with her town in ACNL.

Multistreaming with my buddy by the way, so you get 2 in 1. :D

Edit: Offline! Thanks for joining Seroja and Fruits! ♥
