I've been reading up on Villager cycling, and I just don't get it at all. Can someone please explain how to get a villager you want from someone else? I kind of comprehend the Box, but how does one get a villager OUT of the box and in his or her village? Do they have to have already moved out to get the villager? Can you get the villager if they are preparing to move? Also, can you suggest some villagers please? =)

I have:

Eunice
Katt
Monique
Cranston
Ricky
Daisy
Ruby
Stinky
Ed
Clyde

Ok so cycling works like this.
You list the villagers you are going to move or want to move out. You TT until that villager is boxed up and you let them go.
Note any villager you are keeping and list your dreamies. This makes it more likely to get a villager you want in exchange for a villager that person has.
Additionally, you need to have 1 open space to get a villager from someone else (meaning you will need to TT to get that moved villager out of your town)

So they actually have to be moved out before someone can get them? I still don't understand how you can get a Dreamie from another person. How do you know which villager you're going to get if there's a bunch boxed in? And how exactly do you actually GET a dreamie out of the box?

You cannot go to get a villager from someone elses town till their moving date or what is commonly referred to as "in boxes" (because on their moving day their house will be boxed up inside).
So basically lets say...Katt moving on the 14th (Katt ran up to you and told you she was moving on that day).
Then on the 14th, she'll be inside her house with everything packed. You can say your goodbyes to her then. Then you can invite someone to your town if they want her.
For them to claim her they'd have to have at least a space free meaning a person with ten villagers can't take another moving villager. Once they get to your town, they go to her house and speak to her in which she'll offer to move to their town. They can then say yes or no if they want her or not. After saying yes, the villager will move to their town in 1-3 days. After they leave your town you will notice her house will say "moved out" and the light will no longer be on. If her house doesn't say that after they've left then chances are it didn't work...so either they had ten villagers or they previously had that villager move recently already from their town.

As far as villager cycling, that's a whole different topic. If you want to know how feel free to pm me. I'm happy to explain it. I'm not really sure what you mean by suggesting villagers to you since it's kind of a personal preference? Maybe take a look at the villagers and decide which you like the best: http://acwiki3ds.wikispaces.com/Villagers

So you can keep on TT'ing to keep someone in your box, but I don't like TT'ing (grass deterioration), and how do I prevent villagers from moving in if I want to keep room for a Dreamie? You guys are helping a lot, by the way ^-^

Huh? Why would grass deterioration make you dislike TT? Time travel RESTORES grass.

To prevent villagers from moving in, stay at 9 villagers and do not interact with ANYONE over the internet at all. No wifi, no streetpass, no nothin'. The 10th villager is always recruited from the campsite or another village, so it will always stay empty if you take precautions.

A villager will always randomly moved in if you're only at 8 villagers...typically two days after your ninth has left.
The only way your 10th space will be taken is if you wifi with someone who just had a villager move that hasn't be invited to someone else's town...or if you accidentally streetpass with someone who also just had a villager move.
