I just read in another forum that multiple people can ask a villager to move.
For example, Puddles is packed up and ready to go.
Three people come and talk her into moving to their town.
The next day her plot appears in all three of those people's towns.

Is this true?

Life would be so much easier if this were true. Anyone have confirmation?

i thought about that too... on instagram its a totally different process.... if you happen to have the villager someone wants and their moving soon... you just kindly let them come over on moving day.

When you talk to your friend's moving villager, they decide themselves to move in and always sound really excited. I think it's actually nice—as opposed to vanishing, they get to move into a new town where they're wanted.

its how i got skye... TWICE. just search #animalcrossing and comment on a couple pics or vids saying something like "hey do you have _______ :3?" then ask if their moving soon. the girl i got skye from actually had skye and she was moving that same day .

Aw man, I was hoping you didn't pick any of those three. I'm sticking with Fauna and Deirdre (They're both awesome) for sure. And I really like Colton as well. I think I might be able to part with Colton. You could certainly have anyone else in my town. I don't plan on keeping any of them except maybe Pinky, but I would certainly trade any of them for Kody.
