villagers who fit my town? Change up

So Im renovating my island, I flattened it, and i started to go in a new direction with it

But Im kinda stuck, because Im conflicted on if i should change up villagers I have, you know for a fresh start, but I like the current ones i have.

But I can think of others with names of characters from this theme that could be fun to have. I mean kid Cat, and Marshal are staying. Then three others, but should I try out some new ones? These guys also ask to leave. i mean i have amiibos of all them but Sherb

But its kinda hard to let them go, but any opinions? Or advice?

If you like your current ones, keep them. Having different villagers isn’t going to change dialogue all that much, if that is what’s stale to you. You could try changing it up if you want. It’s ultimately up to you.

I think it's fun to rotate them out! especially if you have ambiios, so you can always invite your favorites back if you miss them. but there's so many villagers, even if their dialogue is similar by personality, they can still add some new ~flair to your island :~)

are you going for a theme with your new island? that might also help you figure out who best to bring!

Yeah, its moRe my island is based on a shpw, snd there are some villagers with the same names as characters in it, or such

If you have their amiibos, I think it is worth branching out. You can always get them back. Who knows, maybe you will develop a new favored villager.
If you don't have amiibos, I wouldn't let the villagers go unless you really, really, want change.

Yeah that was what I was thinking, I would really have trouble giving them up, or letting them move. Raymond and Sherb are the only ones without Amiibos, but Im not sure.

Maybe if someone comes tl the camp site, ill maybe let them staya while. See if I like them.

Maybe making a list of villagers, you may be ok with moving into your island, would help you decide if you really want to.

Theres a few, I should maybe let a female villager in, since my island is full of male villagers. So that might be a thought

Oh yes, head cannons are very fun to make. I may do some switching around, with some I have amiibo for though.
