I kept up with Vocaloid and music producers/ utaites quite a bit back in 2009 - 2012-ish due to some of my friends being super into it! I really liked Luka's deeper voice and was around to see the creation of the first Korean Vocaloid, SeeYa (I think SeeYa was dropped though due to the VA getting in a HUGE scandal).
