I do, although it does make me slightly irritated at times (but tbf that's drawing in general, as much as I do love to draw). It's nice to just sit down, put on some music and colour. Tbh though I haven't done any colouring in pages in years other than these events.
Coloring feels relaxing when you are using color pencils or crayons. I don't find the digital coloring relaxing really. But it is a laid back activity that is still enjoyable to me unless you are going for a lot of detail or perfection.
I haven’t really colored in some time but this would definitely be a relaxing activity for me! I used to love it as a kid but I just don’t have the time nowadays to enjoy it further.
Whenever I finish a drawing the coloring part of it is so satisfying and it makes the drawing come together so well. Makes it feel really rewarding to me for some reason.
It depends on how big the part I'm coloring is. If I'm coloring a big piece, I get a little stressed because it takes much longer and I'd have to make everything consistent and stuff. T^T
Other than that, I like it! I also enjoy blending colors with colored pencils too. :3
It depends on how and what I'm colouring, but for the most part, no. I sometimes find colouring relaxing when I'm doing digital art (especially if I'm also listening to music or watching something while I do it, or if I'm cuddling with Bonk), but most of the time it triggers my impatience, because I want to be done with colouring and see the finished product now LOL. I'm especially impatient when colouring in a colouring book or something, which is why I haven't done that in years. I also hate colouring in big things because it takes a "big" amount of time.
Yeah for sure. Sometimes I just want to be creative with colors, shading and textures, but don't feel like working on my lineart, proportions or compositions. So then its nice to have some already made linearts which I can color in myself
If I’ve got some spare time so that I can focus on it without feeling rushed I sometimes find it quite relaxing - especially if it’s in a colouring book or just colouring a line art so that I can just get to the colouring and not worry about drawing.
I can get quite impatient with it though if it’s a very detailed piece as it can take longer to get to a place I’m happy with but sometimes feel like I’m rushing to see the end result.
