Do you think they will include a voice chat option in the game for when you're playing with others online?

I sure hope so...

Tbh, I don't like voice chats. I'm way too shy to speak to others, probably my voice would crack up in
the middle of the talk, so I would prefer more the simple text chat and wouldn't be sad if they wouldn't
include a voice chat. Not sure however if they would even include it though.

I still think it would be a nice option for those who would be comfortable with it. I would at least enjoy using it for when I play with close friends.

As far as I know, I think with the Switch, games that have voice chat require the Nintendo Switch app on their smartphone and players can communicate over speaker on their phone, sort of how Wii Speak worked.

Pretty sure in an interview somewhere they confirmed that you can voice chat through the use of the Nintendo Switch Online App.

I hope just typing is an option. I’m too shy lol

Voice chat should be there for those who like it though.

I don't mind that there's going to be voice chat for acnh, I had a mic for my wii and chatted with a few of my friends when they'd visit my accf town. It was fun, but at the same time I was self conscious because I was afraid I was talking too loud.

I've never used voice chat before. A long time ago I used to be very shy, but not so much anymore. I think I've gotten so used to typing rather than speaking, that I probably would still be too shy to use voice chat even though I've opened up more in recent years. I may give it a try, but who knows.

I would be okay with there being voice chat as long as there's still typing. My phone sucks & doesn't run any apps properly. I also have a paralyzed vocal chord so I try not to talk for too long or I wear out the one that still works.

animal crossing is one of those games where voice chat definitely enhances the process. i'll still probably stick to something something other than nintendo's app to voice chat but at least it's offered.

I would enjoy voice chat if they added it, but I will realistically use Discord most of the time when playing with friends.

Oddly enough, I do like the option, but I won't really use it. I have a stuttering problem and it's hard enough just talkin to people at work without stuttering in the middle of a sentence or word, so I certainly won't feel comfortable about this to other people. As much as I want to cause it would be much easier then texting, I can't bring myself to other people hearing my speech issues :*)

I'd like a quick voice-to-text option because I'm shy as hell. A few years ago on this game that had voice chat I got made fun of so bad because I had a lisp and that turned me off of ever using voice chat again. I'm sure other people would want this like with distant family or friends playing online together. But I'd never use it if I was just trading with someone lol

There will probably be voice chat through the Nintendo Switch Online app but I'm not expecting anything like the Wii Speak.

I'd love to have something like voice chat in previous Pokemon games, not like through the phone app. I know it wouldn't come true though. ( ̄_ ̄;

It would be nice if for text chat, they add an archive feature so if you miss someone's text when they send it, you can look back at your full convo to see what they said.
