Was it just me or did the net tool break at a faster than normal rate for Festivale?

I hate that tools break and I hate it even more during events. I want to enjoy the event not faff around with this stupid tool breaking rubbish!

I just HATE tools breaking. It broke 2 seconds into the event. I HATE that.

I think it just felt like they were breaking all the time because of the amount of feathers we had to catch. I think I'm in the minority here, but I didn't like how many feathers I had to catch and craft for rainbow feathers, especially because I wanted to customize the furniture I already had from Nook's.
