Another thought on the reasoning behind that decision: it?s possible that they want lots of players to get new villagers from the start. What better way to do that than to force one of the starters to be an uchi?since that?s the least numerous type so far, adding lots of new ones to it would really show. Combine it with jock, the most numerous type, and you?d have the most variety of starting pairs possible.

They're also the most likely personality type that would agree to do this sort of thing. Sporty Jock and a Big Sister-type person.

Agreed. I can additionally see cranky too, but that might just be my own characterization of them. Something along the lines of “I want to be on my own, unbothered by others on a remote island” seems in character enough xD

Ahh, that's such a cute name, especially for a horse. I do like her a lot, so if she is indeed uchi, I wouldn't mind having her in my town as a starting villager. I love the horse villagers. <3

Hmm, I don't like it, it looks weird. Rene + neigh seems like a first thought kinda thing, I'd rather see something like Nayleigh because all those names always end with leigh and it would still be neigh with an extra syllables. Or Reigneigh for double pun.

She's very pretty! I may be mistaken, but her makeup/markings on her eyes look almost African. I love those designs.

We've had a few villagers with same-type names before. Cherry and Cheri for one. Another pair is Tammy and Tammi, I believe.

I think she's an Uchi too, in 'Do you think we start with one jock and one uchi villager?' thread, I added something about the horse (now known as Reneigh) could possibly be an Uchi.

That new horse is probably a uchi, she's wearing the same thing as Ursala (who's an uchi now)..but in another color.
