We should start a petition to Nintendo to give us more slots for custom designs

They listened when people complained about bunny day and also when people asked for POC hairstyles, so why not try with this as well?
I've been flooding their Twitter with requests, lol.

TBH I feel like if they were going to add it, they either would've added it in with the 4C hairstyles and new reactions (like sitting), which were both things people were asking for but not as much as more design slots, or else they're still working on it.

I think it's not unlikely to have more CD slots in the future, considering how Nintendo has upgraded storage room + added more reactions/hairstyles and skin colors. So, I don't think it's impossible, at least.

We had 100 slots in HHD, we should at least have the same amount here.

Asking for more design slots is not the same as people asking for POC hairstyles and skin tones. They're something that should of been in the game from the beginning. IMO.

However, yes I would love more design slots but nintendo rarely cares what its players want, so will we see more design slots? Probably not

we managed to get storage upgrades so there is room to hope, but I agree that it isn't similar to getting more POC hairstyles in terms of campaigning. either way all we can do is just wait and see what Nintendo brings out next! we're due an update at the end of this month so here's hoping we get an announcement soon that might give some hints

This is what I think. I think we will get more slots eventually. Hopefully by the one year anniversary. (I'm thinking we will get an update then and it will be pretty big.)

I agree with this! I also think they should bring light brown from New Leaf or a dirty blonde hair color cause I can't ever actually look like myself these days in ACNH. And I really don't understand why they took out the BEST HAIR COLORS from New Leaf.

This would be amazing. I’m sure it’s something they could add in an update relatively easily. I really hope it happens. It would be cool if we could buy more custom design slots with Nook Miles. When you allocate slots for The Path it really cuts down on additional space for designs :/

I agree, I want a path from there but with the current number of slots, it will be impossible

This is the #1 thing I wish they'd add right now. I'm hopeful that it will happen in 2021. I think there's a very good chance it will.
