The subreddits on Reddit I often like to visit are r/Presidents, r/OldSchoolCool, r/todayilearned, and r/BarbaraWalters4Scale (I guess you can say these subreddits are my favorites lol). When it comes to subreddits, I often find myself gravitating towards history related subreddits.

Well, I don't really use Reddit much lately, but some of the subreddits I used to like looking at were r/languagelearning, r/whatisthisthing, r/whatsthisbug, and r/tipofmytongue. There were a few times I was able to help figure out what something was or what someone was trying to remember in r/whatisthisthing or r/tipofmytongue, but most of the time I just liked browsing to learn about interesting objects, bugs, and things that people had forgotten. And with r/languagelearning, I learned about some helpful language learning strategies and resources. I do still check in on the subreddits every few months, mostly just looking at recent top posts for anything interesting

Hobbyist stuff.

r/MMA r/patientgamers r/movies

I never post on reddit though. I don't like it's downvote system. I think it creates an echo chamber and I don't want to be chastised for having an alternative opinion.

I follow a lot of gaming subreddits for my favorite games/shows/books, but some of the other ones are inter-personal like r/socialanxiety and r/socialskills

Other noteworthy places are r/pettyrevenge, r/BreadStapledtoTrees, r/shubreddit, r/Floridaman/Wholesomefloridaman as a few.

I quit reddit for the most part; I stay logged out so that I don't end up mindlessly browsing the feed. But i can't help myself from visiting the two Grimes subreddits, I like keeping up with her crazy weird drama lmao. I also like visiting the henna subreddit, the FROM tv series subreddits, and the embroidery subreddit. Ooh and r/Repaintings is pretty great too!

I'd be addicted to r/AITA if it wasn't all completely made up stories

I post a bit on r/schizophrenia and r/schizoaffective, but I browse several more. I tend to visit the subreddit for the town I live in, subreddits for AI I use, a few niche meme subreddits, r/Oregon, r/brandnewsentence and r/blursedimages.

I don't really use Reddit to be honest, aside from looking up various information for games that is helpful. I'm not a huge fan of the community there.

I am about to sound like a basic bee, but I love “Am I the A Hole” lol. The amount of drama, I can’t….😭 (Some of it is more serious, of course, but you know….)

I end up on r/SquaredCircle a lot.

r/BeautyGuruChatter

r/Popheads

If you need a good laugh, (and hate commercials) check out r/commercialsihate! They’re so funny, especially about that awful Target commercial….🤣 I also love how they roasted the Wendy’s ads.

r/YouTubedrama on occasion, as well as r/legaladvice (Idk why)

r/RoomPom

I like r/OldSchoolCool too, and r/botany is sometimes fun. My only thing with Old School is, as much as I like looking at beautiful people, it gets overrun by pics of “hot celebrities” (Not a problem, just not what I’m always looking for there) and not the historical stuff I was looking for.

I also like r/tip of my tongue and r/tip of my joystick for finding obscure media.

I used to look at Two X Chromosomes often, but in a strange turn of events, it made me feel insecure and pessimistic. I am a feminist, but I am also careful in what I consume so I don’t get too involved in it. I still check in occasionally, but don’t stay too long.

i don't actually have an account, but when i get bored at work i'll go to some car subreddits to look at pics of peoples cars haha. i'll also pop into the subreddit for my profession sometimes to commiserate with people feeling frustrated with our line of work.

r/thomastheplankengine is my favorite. people recreate memes and funny images they saw in their dreams. always makes me laugh like crazy.

I also like r/tipofmytongue and some geography subreddits.

A lot of the subreddits I find most useful are location based ones, I would recommend joining your city/area subreddit if there is one. This can also be really good for travelling too, you can check out the subreddit of the places you are going.

r/FreeGameFindings if you are interested in free PC games, I've been able to get some pretty good stuff by checking there periodically

i quit reddit mostly because the incels are so horrible and everywhere, BUT one of my favorite subs was r/indiemakeupandmore. i love indie perfumes which is the main focus of the sub, and i found so many amazing scents and brands that way. i do miss it, especially being able to sell/trade my extra samples, but i think the only social media i can handle anymore is here lol.

r/fictosexual
r/FictoLove
r/Flipline
r/TalesfromtheDogHouse

there’s a few more but I feel like these are my main ones

The first two subs are for self-shippers, but the purpose varies slightly between the two. The 1st/top one is used to talk about self-shipping and attraction to fictional characters as a whole, whereas the one right below is used to post stuff of us with our characters and fictional others.

The Flipline one is dedicated to discussing surrounding a series of cooking games. Pizzeria, Burgeria, Taco Mia, and so on (different versions of each game too). One of my favorite video game series. Papa’s Pizzeria Deluxe is currently being worked on and I plan to play it if I can once it releases. I have a few hundred dollars in gift cards, but they can sometimes be finicky in terms of where I can use them. Thankfully, I haven’t had issues on Steam, though.

Now, some of you are probably quite confused about the bottom one if you know about my dislike of dogs. Well, it’s actually more of a venting sub. I found it back in July and felt really seen. The sub caters to people who have to live with (a) dog(s) against their will. If you have read some of my WBY vents, you will have an idea of what my situation has been like since May. Granted, it is not my dad’s dog, it is my paternal grandparents’, but they’ve pretty much handed half the responsibility to us at this point because they travel so carelessly. My dad has also been on and off about getting a dog once their dog passes away which I hope it’s not for quite a while. If anything, I’m hoping this whole thing will make my dad not want a dog for the foreseeable future.

Also, during sumo tournaments I like to check out r/Sumo and r/SumoMemes since they’re more active around then.

And…r/PanPom! For some reason seeing the empty makeup pans is satisfying to me.
