really, not to offend anybody and their beautiful unique lil island, but through tbt I’ve managed to start visiting tons of islands and I’ve noticed some island names just come up again and again!

What’s the most recurring island name you’ve seen?

Here's some I've seen a lot trading:

• Paradise
• Corona ("Crown", or something else lol???)
• Sakura
• Castaway

I swear I visit at least one of these every single day! No shade, all lovely names (well, except one maybe haha). But most often I see unique island names! It's the actual villager names that get me. There's so many common names out there!

Talking about unique ones, so far I have never seen another Oakheart.

I saw those islands during a round of visiting turnip exchange and i've seen them a lot before... still in turnip exchange. Will be edited later with more island names. With unique names, i haven't seen a Leybaki other than mine.

There are too many Islands named “pen” (haha very funny /s)
But yea I see a lot of paradise and corona (and variants). Also just “island” for some reason
I also see a lot of “insert here” cay. It looks weird to me since I’m used to the term “key” instead of “cay” (cay sounds more unique tho)

my island is named honey and i've definitely seen a lot of other honey themed islands. i always think of same hat meme whenever i visit a honeybay or something.

otherwise paradise & corona are the top two i see. i have no clue why folks have named their islands corona (like i get it but also... i don't want a reminder lol)

I would never name my island Corona! It's a cool name and all but the background...

Corona is also the name of the kingdom in Tangled. I seen people name their islands after that too. Lol

Astoria is the name of a real port city - so I'd assume it's a reference to that.
