What are you doing to make the wait more bearable?

i feel like time’s slowed down significantly ever since i decided i was going to get new horizons lol.

i’ve been playing pocket camp and watching animal crossing vids on youtube which helps a bit but ultimately makes me want the game more

I've been playing New Leaf every day and watching YouTube videos but I can't believe how slowly it's all going.. plus the lack of news means that I've run out of YouTube content already!!! I've also picked up my little brother's DS and played on his Wild World town!!

I just made a countdown calendar. It will help fill my endless days. Or it should.

Also breaking it up in my head with mini AC related events. Like if i can just make it to the 20th, I can see if there's a direct and obsess over any information they give us for a couple weeks. After that I can look forward to my switch getting here on the 13th - 15th. Then I can just play games and break in my new console until the 20th. :)

I feel like AC fans might outlive the rest of the population bc nintendo got us stopped in time.

Work makes weeks feel like a few days.

I've also been buying a few too many games in the past month to play before March 20 (Dragon Quest XI, Snack World, #FE Encore, Zombie Army 4). Oops. *shrug*

I have picked New Leaf back up and I'm doing a major town renovattion by doing things I've never done or tried to do before. Like I'm landscaping around my villager's houses. I put in the time to learn how to make my own paths. I'm going for a super specific look.

I'm also going to be starting an Animal Crossing journal. When I first started playing New Leaf, I had a list on everybody who had moved in and out of my town. I thought it would be fun to keep a little journal of my gameplay for New Horizons.

Other than that, I'm trying to keep busy doing my normal life things and not thinking about it. Which is not going well because I decided that I did want to have a digital copy on my switch, but I can't buy and pre-load the game until my next paycheck at the end of the month because grocery shopping and Valentines Day budget. But it will be so worth it because then I can have it on my switch at all times exactly like I have Stardew Valley and New Leaf (on my 3DS).

I don't even know, I think the Game Week here is going to make things a little more bearable since it's also something to look forward to & spend some time playing! Luckily it'll last two weeks. So that leaves another 3 weeks until New Horizons after that! I'll probably just try and semi-ignore the fact that it's coming because I get too impatient.. :)

I started by watching paint dry. Now I'm on to waiting for a pot of water to boil. Might take my turtle to the track next and time how long it takes for old Speedy to run a mile.

I've been busy playing thru Sword/Shield, ACNL and Farm Together Events that happen twice a month.
Time is going by quickly.

Making an honest attempt to finish the Pokedex on Pokemon Home. The hardest part is going to be having to play through Ultra Sun in order to get the Legendaries and Ultra Beasts I'm missing. I also need to play through Ultra Moon to get one Ultra Beast but I might try to trade for it since playing through an entire game for one Pokemon seems tiring.

Other than that, I've started a fitness journal which is making me look forward to the next day of filling it out.

I?ve been playing pocket camp and new leaf while also watching YouTube videos. But, been trying to more distract myself by drawing. I can?t wait and time moves slower and slower each day the game gets closer to release lol.

I attempted playing my Wild Life, Let's go to the City (City Folk) and some of my existing ACNL towns but time was dragging on so I started a new ACNL town.

By continuing to play through Dragon Quest XI S Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch and finish off my Pok?mon Shield pok?dex (just seven 'mon to go!)

I?ve been playing Happy Home Designer to fill the void! I also have been popping into New Leaf occasionally.

i just did an in-depth study on wreaths based on what we've been shown and the results have been very interesting. the wait is excruciatingly painful.

Playing New Leaf. :ppp

Time usually flies by. But now that there is a game we are all dying to get, it feels like time is moving at a snail's pace. Time is a biatch sometimes.... :'(
