Today has been a really good day even though I’ve been a bit restless and haven’t gotten much done .

Last night I had a nice chat with @Mimi Cheems about Pokemon; always nice to chat with her! I love her energy; it really helps brighten my mood . (sorry if this sounds weird >.<).

I had some good laughs with some friends today .Their banter makes me laugh; I’m terrible at banter and jokes so I can’t join in but reading their replies to each other is really good enough for me .

I think tomorrow I should have enough iron nuggets to donate to get nook’s cranny built on my second island. I’m impatient to be done with tutorial and start decorating. I think I might try flattening it; I really want to do a better job on this island. Depending on how it goes, maybe I’ll get some ideas how to finish my main island and make it look better .

I was happy to hear that @mocha and Todd are doing good today .

I played a bit of Splatoon and I did pretty good with the bloblobber deco in splat zones (at least I thought I did ).

• Work was quite eventful, but it made me happy when my supervisor told me that I did a good job during my shift. That made me happy.
• I watched the 2024 Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix! Wow, I think this race is the most entertaining one so far this season. It rained, dried up for a bit, rained for a couple of laps, then dried up once more. It made for some interesting strategy calls that's for sure. And even though the rain stopped for the remainder of the race (heck, even the sun came out), the track was still pretty damp outside of the racing line. Deviate from the racing line with slick tires and you'd find yourself aquaplaning pretty quickly. Simply put, it was quite eventful even though Max Verstappen won again lol.

It didn't get off to a great start as I was feeling a bit under the weather, but thankfully got better as the day went on.

• I didn't have any classes nor work today, so that was nice.
• Feel free to skip this point. After I picked up my sister from college, I finally spotted a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor that was parked in a parking lot! This is after being baited multiple times by other variants F-150s on the road. I first noticed its hood which made me go, "no way, is this it?". I then noticed its widened fenders and I was like, "okay, surely it's gotta be it, right?". When I then saw the "6.2L" badge on the passenger door, it confirmed my sighting and was delighted to find this elusive trim of the F-150. That makes it car #241 on my huge list, and the third pickup truck to land there as well (the other two are 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro and the scary looking Chevrolet SSR).
• I bought one of the materials I needed for the Celebrating Diversity event. I really hope I have enough time to complete it before the deadline (I find it amusing how the event lasts just as long as TBTWC haha). Regardless, I'm looking forward to having fun with my craft.
• I baked salmon and potatoes for dinner. As per usual, it tasted delicious!
• I played Gran Turismo 7 and generally had fun with it. Also got to drive the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor I mentioned earlier and did a custom race with a few other cars of my choosing. Not gonna lie, it was entertaining pit maneuvering AI opponents at one point for the laughs. For good measure, the pickup truck is engine swapped too which can punch out over 1400 horsepower. It's a game. I don't take it seriously all the time.

Video games can be beautiful sometimes. Duking it out against a 2014 McLaren 650S (right), a 2009 Toyota Prius G did a tire swap on this car at work weeks ago lol, a 1993 Volvo 240 SE Estate, and a 2022 Honda Civic Type R (FL5) on the same track together is wack. And yeah, all those cars I've seen in real life!

Meri, do you still have some of that apple pie? I wanna give it a try sometime hehehe.

Just got to work on my Celebrating Diversity entry today.

My boss said she was going to pay me the money she didn't give me last month~ So that's great.
And was able to get things ready at work before she got there early today, and helped cleaned outside which she was happy about.

I plan to research some publishing companies, to see how far away they are, and plan on travelling to them in person to give them my CV and hopefully chat a bit about how I could help the company.
Yesterday I applied to two other jobs so those were finally done.

I am not used to clay, but I am hoping to plan and do some of my Celebrating Diversity entry. Gonna learn more and just have fun

Yesterday I played dead by daylight after so long, as Killer, one of the maps was the alien map, and the ledge going upto the ship - omg it was funny - I was chasing two survivors, and I fell off the edge, I hope it was funny on their end XD Plan to play more

Hope to plan to focus on my portfolio again when I am more motivated to do so.

well i was back to work today which would normally mean i'm miserable (and i was don't worry) but i got notification of my pay rise and bonus so this months pay is gonna look SO GOOD

i've never had a job with a bonus before so i feel very lucky, gonna try and be sensible with most of it!

Yesterday I had my last exam, so now I'm on break! It's a massive weight off my shoulders. Tomorrow I'm heading out to see my partner for the first time in a couple weeks because of exams which I'm looking forward to.

I made dinner tonight and experimented a bit with what we had in the fridge and was happy with the result!

Was able to draw tonight which was relaxing, and finished off by playing some genshin over a call

Today's been pretty good! I got up and was productive at work, started working on something new. Then I logged off for the day and played some Wuthering Waves to try and get a triple crit 4 cost for Jiyan. Afterwards I fed my kitties their favorite food and am about to do the newest event in Genshin Impact. I also didn't have the gym or martial arts today. Hoping everyone had a good day.

☾ I checked out the new Usagi Shima update!! Bought the island expansion so I’d have room for the new buildings, met four of the five new bunnies, got the new achievement for scoring high in the new Bun Run minigame, and made Kinoko and Mofu my two new resident bunnies!! ;w;

☾ Watched a little Youtube with my family, including Markiplier’s latest Content Warning episode!! I hope to see it continue aaaa

☾ I worked on art for a little while this evening!

☾ We found our Sculpey clay!!! I’ve been struggling to come up with a craft to do for the Celebrating Diversity event, but now I’ve just gotta figure out what I want to sculpt.

I am happy to be enjoying some time off. Was able to get some yard work done yesterday and this morning. Enjoying my walks with Aurora. Went grocery shopping yesterday. We are now finally getting some much needed rain. There is a chance of rain for the rest of the week which is fantastic since we desperately need it. Have been enjoying Pokémon Violet. Found a ditto the other day. Have been having fun with the surprise trade and actually received a few shiny that I’m trying to see if I can breed for another shiny. No luck so far but maybe .

Today has been good so far!

I got a nice message on my profile by @Suguri and feedback from a trade. I messed up yesterday but Suguri was really kind about it .

Today I went grocery shopping and bought two packs of Pokemon cards . I’m really happy with what I got; it helps that I don’t know what cards there are . I used to collect Mtg cards and I’d find myself disappointed when I didn’t get certain cards ; I’d look at the set ahead of time and hope for certain cards.

I also bought some more plastic card holders so I might start looking to trade my amiibo cards again soon. I’m really hoping I can find the WAs that I’m missing .

I’m happy to be home now; going out for the short time I was grocery shopping drained me as it always does .

My babies were being cute earlier.

If I didn’t know my girls, I might have thought they were fighting lol . I love them and kittens so much .

Last night I talked to some friends about something that has been bothering me for a few years. It really helped getting it off my chest and they all were so kind, understanding & supportive; I’m so grateful to them all .

Banter between friends have been making me laugh more today. They’re all so great . I love their silliness and humor. Had a lot of nice chats today

I’m happy because @S.J. @Xara and I will be playing Mario Party in a couple days!

I’m really happy that @Yanrima~ checked up on me; I was thinking earlier that i should message her soon to see how she’s been. I’m happy to see she’s doing good .

On my second island, I finished gathering the materials for Nook’s Cranny today and donated them .

I played some Splatoon with @Mimi Cheems and had a lot of fun .

I traded with @Chibi.Hoshi for the shinies that she got me during the tbtwc and she also traded me a shiny mew; Mew is my favorite Pokemon ! I’m extremely grateful since she really didn’t have to trade me her shiny mew! I hope I can help her get a dream collectible or something in return that she’d like that is equal or higher value . Thank you so much, friend!

• Got a job interview coming this Friday! I desperately need a job so I'm hoping for the best!
• I have an appointment with my psychiatrist today. Since he adjusted my meds a month ago I’m no longer manic so that’s good news to report.
• I feel a little better about my situation now because I have a possible job lined up AND a backup plan if I for some reason am not able to get a job soon.
• My boyfriend and I are working things out. I kind of impulsively broke up with him the other day because I was depressed about a life situation (needing a job soon and risking losing my apartment and cats if I couldn’t pay rent) and wanted to isolate since I was feeling extremely hopeless cause I was certain I’d end up homeless. We are still together and I’m glad because that would have been the stupidest decision I have ever made. We’ve been together 1 year and 3 months and he makes me happier than anyone ever has and motivates me and he is so wonderful. I’m glad I didn’t completely screw things up. I have a tendency to isolate when I’m struggling mentally which isn’t good.
• My kitties are doing well. Happy as can be
• I’m enjoying some coffee and listening to some music, got a few hours to do whatever I want until my appointment
• Played some Disney Dreamlight Valley this morning
• Started watching an anime my friend recommended called Mushi-Shi. It’s pretty cool

So just got a phone call from a place I put an application in to a long time ago. Randomly called me and asked to set up an interview so I have an interview with them tomorrow afternoon. I’m so thrilled because this will be so much better than the potential fast food job. I have experience in retail. It’s not exactly easy or fun all the time and it’s hard work and stressful but at least I know I can do it!

Also my psychiatrist adjusted my meds a bit further. Basically doing a med overhaul right now so it’s taking a bit of time.
