☾ I played Dragon Quest Builders 2 again today, and I think I might be getting close to the end of the Furrowfield storyline!
☾ I’d ordered some plushes with part of the gift money I got for Christmas, and they got here safely today!! ;w; I love them and I’m super happy eee
☾ My mom and I caught up with some of CoryxKenshin, Danny Gonzalez, and Markiplier’s recent videos this evening!
☾ And I know I just said yesterday that I probably wasn’t going to play Pocket Camp much until the next event, but I spent a good part of this evening redecorating my camper and third floor of my cabin anyway LOL. I’m very happy with how they turned out though! I really love Papi’s winter bird fortune cookie set and was able to complete it today, so I made a lot of use of those items ;v;

before work today I bought some jewelry that I turned into earrings, there were so many choices I had a hard time choosing!! I love quirky and cute earrings, so these were right up my alley. there are some I want to go back for later, but I'm happy with what I got today!

It's my partners birthday so I got them an ice cream cake from dairy queen. It's got hello kitty on the front. I also got them a card with a gift card and we are going for dinner later. Tomorrow our friends are coming over for a visit also so over all I hope my partner has a good birthday.
Do you have cats? Lol I ask because I tried on some dangly earrings the other day and my cat swatted at one of them! ☾ I finished an art WIP I started… back in mid-December apparently lol, and listened to a funny livestream VOD in the background while I was at it. I also made some progress on another sketch I’ve been chipping away at!
☾ My parents and I started watching LDShadowLady’s Minecraft Empires season one series! I love her videos and I’ve been curious about it for a little while, so I’m glad we’re going back to see it! ^^

I had a good day today and it was pretty chill. Literally. 
- Work was very quiet. Despite that, however, I managed to learn new things with the help of my coworkers getting more hands on experience! The best part? We worked on a Volvo C30! It's not often I see them around in my area... And also the fact that it does appear in Gran Turismo even though it's not the exact same trim level lol.
- Because of how work wasn't busy at all, I got to leave early!
- With the extra time I had in my hands, I ended up going for a walk and had a good time. This sounds crazy to you, but I love the cold weather provided I'm bundled up for the low temperatures. To put a cherry on top, the skies were absolutely clear and sunny all around!
- At some point during my walk, I bought a few Jamaican beef patties so I can treat myself, my mother, and sister.
- I listened to a bunch of music. I accidentally came across an official 8-bit remix of the Wallace & Gromit theme that was used in Vengeance Most Fowl. Better yet, it sounds as if it genuinely came from an NES game since it respects the hardware limitations. As a person who likes listening to 8-bit music, it brings a smile to my face, especially since the movie itself only used it for three seconds at most!

- Played a bit of Gran Turismo 7. The TV I usually do my gaming on bit the dust, so I had to resort to remote play on my laptop which has a slight bit of input lag. In racing games, being a millisecond too early or too late can lead to a major mistake. Despite that, I went ahead and somehow achieved a gold target time in a new online time trial that came out today!
- I'm off from work tomorrow, so I can kick back and relax.

Happy today because I took a couple day break from the forums and really enjoyed it. It snowed today, which was really nice to see considering we rarely get snow here. I also hosted the morning call for my workplace again today and did really well with it. The Dallas Stars defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 4-1 tonight to extend their winning streak to six games, but more importantly, the Dallas MAVERICKS defeated the Portland Trailblazers 117-111 after being down by 10 points late in the 4th quarter to extend their winning streak to two games. Overall a really solid week, and I'm looking forward to taking a hot shower and sleeping in a bit tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great week! 
- I’m finally feeling better after being sick for 2 weeks
- Got on the treadmill for 30 minutes today. Also gonna take a 30 min walk outside later today then do some yoga
- I love my smartwatch. It’s my first smart watch. It’s not an Apple Watch but it does everything I need it to do and I’m super happy with it!!
maybe someday I’ll upgrade to an Apple Watch but I didn’t want to jump into something so expensive right away as I never had a smart watch before and I wanted to make sure I like them first so I got a budget friendly one 
I’m finding it super motivating with the activity tracking, sleep monitoring, stress level, etc. makes me motivated to be healthy
I finally put up this lovely Beatles calendar that I got for Christmas.

☾ I bought a pack of my favorite water from the store. I like my soda, but sometimes I’m thirsty and all I want is water. I’m picky when it comes to bottled water, but at least I found a brand I drink, lmao.
☾ I posted earlier about a new hat I had ordered, and it recently arrived. I would have loved to get it in blue, but only black was available. I never posted pictures of it, so here it is below.

☾ I posted earlier about a new hat I had ordered, and it recently arrived. I would have loved to get it in blue, but only black was available. I never posted pictures of it, so here it is below.
My brave little men were neutered today. My boss thankfully let me have the day off work to deal with it, as I only found out yesterday that this was happening so soon. The day had a rocky start (we were over 30 mins late for drop-off) but they had the procedure done, came around quickly from the anaesthesia, and since coming home have spent 4hrs asleep on my lap.

The wounds look neat and clean and the nurses took excellent care of them. Very regular updates (first just as I was unlocking my front door!), fed them the food I brought in instead of theirs (Delta has a sensitive tum), and also kenneled them together without me asking them to (Delta gets distressed when he can't get to Sebastian).
Also, we were so busy chatting I forgot to pay my bill and they forgot to ask for it. I realised as the taxi turned onto the street. I pointed it out and asked if I could call them in 20 minutes and pay over the phone, and thankfully they trusted me to do that. They then helped me get the boys settled in the taxi. Paid it as soon as I got home and let them out their carriers!
I'm home alone with them tonight, so after a high stress/worry day it's time for a glass of wine, junk TV, and hopefully more kitten cuddles.
EDIT: oh, and their "I'm sorry" gift arrived today - a cat tree!

My grandma is in recovery and the surgery went smoothly. I may see her Sunday. I'll have to see how the weather is and how I am feeling.
My book did actually come today. I already took a peek into it and it is so cool.

I just want to say that I have been active here for eight and a half years, and this forum feels like a home to me. I've made so many amazing friends here (including the love of my life) and I don't know where I would be in my life without you all 
besides that there are lots of things I'm happy about today! something I ordered over a month ago finally arrived today and I'm so happy about it! I just got news that my passport is out for shipment, and I should get it sometime next week! I matched my hearts kitty when I went to work today and a lot of people complimented me about it! now I'm spending my evening being cozy, vibing with my doggos and kitties, playing Animal Crossing for a bit, and once I'm done with my chores in game I will work on drawings. and then I'll get to snuggle my love to sleep tonight hehehe
