What Are You Happy About Today?

My mood isn’t the best but I have a few things that I’m happy about .

I had a lot of fun playing Among Us with friends . I love the sloth mask we got for free today .

Last night I got a unit that I’ve been waiting to come to NA servers in Fate Go for a few years.

He’s not an S tier unit nor do I like his ascension forms much, but I wanted him mostly because I liked him (Kirei Kotomine) in Fate Zero; he was a pretty interesting character and had one of the best fight scenes.

My mom had got some cinnamon chips that I really like recently; she’s going to get me another bag soon .

My dad had work today so it has been quiet all day in the house except when one of my nieces was over.

Spanky snuggled with me a lot today .

Last night in Genshin I was able to get some ascension materials for Lynette on my alt even though I haven’t been to Fontaine yet. I noticed that they gave me some teleport spots when I click on the material. Really nice they added this when I was taking time off the game.

All right, my day off was a good one!

• I'm off from work!
• I made a few things in Inkscape so I can use them as decals in Gran Turismo 7 in the future. I've had this livery idea that's been floating in my mind since last year, so I'm one step closer to bringing it to fruition! That last word is a hint to my idea hehehe.
• I decided to go on a nostalgia trip and went through the forum archives for 2021 Camp TBT. I mainly went to the thread where you got to play a minigame in the ocean area that @/Mistreil made (and I'm pretty sure it's the first game that they ever made for TBT). Called Go Fish! Oarfish!, it's a snake game where you control an oarfish and "devour the mods" to get the highest score possible. However, there's also a secret Oarchris mode where the main difference is that the oarfish moves significantly slower, has blonde hair, and plays Baby Park from Mario Kart in the background getting progressively quicker as you increase your score. I've had some fun for sure while going on memory lane. If you want to play the game yourself, I got the link here!

It's pretty easy to get this far if you plan your paths right, even though it'll take some time. Fun fact: If you run out of space, you'll actually freeze the game! I intentionally got a game over so I can get a score.

• My mom bought chicken nuggets and a couple of biscuits from Popeyes. She also got free fries from them too after they made an error in her order earlier in the week.
• After a very long time, I got around to watching Initial D for the first time ever! It got me hooked and I finished watching through seven episodes. Obviously, it made me really happy to see numerous cars that I recognize. I'm really rooting for Takumi and his Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 as the story progresses.

- Not posted here for a while! I started my new job on Tuesday so been pretty busy for the week. So far so good though there is a lot to learn
- I was worried about the time it took to walk to the office from the station but once I got to know the route, I can make it in about 20 minutes which is fine lol
- Got my annual leave sorted so my holidays can all go ahead
- It's the weekend!

☆ I am glad to be back in school and working hard!

☆ I have been laying in my bed playing Project Sekai on my iPad. The Sanrio character collab recently happened and I was so lucky and got all 26 cards with only 60K crystals! Thankfully, I still have some crystals left so I can get Fluffy Dreamland Nene this time when the gacha reruns next week!

Happy today because I slept in, which I really needed, and got my favorite coffee drink. The snow cleared here fairly quickly, which is good because my electric toothbrush I ordered arrives at some point today. Also just nice to see the sun again in general. Planning on playing more games and just generally relaxing this weekend because I have a busy week next week. Last, but certainly not least, the Dallas Stars play the Montreal Canadiens tonight, going for their 7th win in a row! Hope everyone has an amazing weekend!

☾ My parents and I watched Demon Slayer: Mugen Train this morning! It was so super good, it definitely lived up to all the hype I remember hearing about it

☾ We recently got the kitties some new puzzle toys, and they seem to be enjoying them so far! ;v; Might have to get some more like these if it lasts.

☾ I made some progress in the Fishing Tourney in Pocket Camp Complete, and did a few more of Lottie’s challenges! I'm gonna be absolutely set on cargo for Gulliver's trips for ages now omg

☾ I did some sketching today!

☾ And I got to play Among Us hide and seek again tonight, which was a blast!!

+ Work was relatively uneventful today which was nice, and things went smoothly for the most part. I did get anxious a bit but was able to push through that.
+ I am becoming more comfortable driving alone again and have found a good dashcam to help with my anxiety of driving and needing to check on how things went while I was driving.
+ I got Jinshi's new outfit for Wuthering Waves.
+ I'm most likely going to buy the digital copy of 28 Days Later since it's very hard to find a physical copy without being like way more than it should be, and I probably will buy the Wicked movie as well.

Only a few things for today.

• My shift at work has been fairly chill once again. However, the main highlight for me was that a customer brought in a second-generation Audi TTS Coupe! It made me so, so happy, especially when I got to drive it for the first time ever technically speaking (I only just drove it in for service lol)! Of course, it's one of the many cars I can virtually drive in the Gran Turismo series, so you have no idea how hyped I was on the inside seeing it up close and personal.

Why yes, it is in fact flying. I gotta say, the details look pretty spot on, even the interior!

• I watched Initial D and got up to episode 11! There's this one song that played in the background I really like while Takumi was battling Takeshi's Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32). I'm pretty sure the song was also used as a meme in the past hehehe.

• This last point is quite dear to me (and lengthy too) and is actually related to Animal Crossing for once. January 11 marks ten years since I've became mayor in Lorule, my town in New Leaf that I initially created back in 2015. I didn't really play it a lot in the last few years aside from the Farewell to New Leaf event last year, but it doesn't change the fact that it makes me happy to still see it standing a decade later. I've actually had a few dreams in the past where my town would get corrupted and I'd be so anxious. But that's only it: Dreams. That unfortunate event never really happened. Anyway, I got to celebrate the milestone with Kitt, Celia, Mable, and of course, Isabelle! And admittedly, I did some time travelling beforehand to avoid my villagers moving out unexpectedly through the system settings. If it weren't for my sister who asked for New Leaf as a holiday present back in 2014, I don't think I'd be interested in Animal Crossing in the first place, nor would I somehow discover TBT with the good things it has and sparking my journey of drawing.

- I ate some Nepali food for dinner that tasted yummy, especially the steamed momos.
- Went to another pickleball lesson and learned some serving techniques. The weather was nice and sunny too.
- Took a nap in the afternoon which helped me a bit with my tiredness.
- Played AC: New Leaf and Ankha gave me her photo.

Despite a CFS flare-up making me feel like I've a hangover (didn't drink!), I was productive today. I tore down a fish tank (my betta passed a while ago and I've decided I don't want another pet right now), cleaned the axolotls tank, and assembled a cat tree for Seb and Delta.

They also got their cones off this afternoon!

I'm going to go curl up on the couch now.

☾ I woke up early this morning (the sun hadn’t even come up yet and I was scared to check my clock in case I was wide awake in the middle of the night lol), so I got to enjoy a nice slow morning! I love the way ice crystals in the grass sparkle in the early morning this time of year ;w;

☾ Watched an episode of Hunter x Hunter, Haikyu, and the first episode of the second season of Demon Slayer! Since we just saw the movie, I think our plan for next weekend is to skip the rest of the anime version of the Mugen Train arc for now, and come back to it later once we’re caught up. that and I’m not emotionally ready to go through that again

☾ I played Pocket Camp Complete some today, and made more progress on the Fishing Tourney and Lottie’s challenges!

☾ I picked out free-to-use HTML codes for all my Toyhouse profiles that still had blank profiles! I still need to… actually fill out the codes now, but it’s a start!
