What Are You Happy About Today?

It's not been a happy day, but I've had the best source of comfort. I took a nap this afternoon and woke-up with these two cuddled up against me. 🖤

☾ I worked on some art throughout the day today!

☾ Cleared everything in the Fashion Dreamer Fairy Tale Fair rerun!! I had fun designing some outfits just a few of the other players I came across, so I hope they like them! ^^

☾ My parents and I watched some Youtube this evening, and we got to see another of LDShadowLady’s Empires S1 episodes!
 
- Stayed the night at my moms last night! I got to try the Sabrina Carpenter drink at Dunkin. It was actually super good, but pretty strong T^T Although,,, I love espresso, so it's not like it was BAD or anything. I enjoyed it, and actually got it again today before I went to work c:

- Got closer to a coworker of mine tonight. We talked about k-pop, video games, and our 'character lore' (our trauma) LOL. It was pretty nice to find someone I could relate to, and I hope they found comfort in perhaps being able to relate to me, as well. They're going to give me all of their old BTS albums (since they don't stan BTS anymore). I'm really excited for that. We also added each other on Discord, so I'm really stoked to talk to them more! They also gave me the new Red Bull flavor to try >:3

- I got to talk with my boyfriend a lot these past few days.. I really really love him T^T We're gonna go to the aquarium for my birthday this year which is SUPER exciting AUUUUUH I can barely contain my excitement!!! Sometimes I feel like I don't deserve him. But.. I realize, we are more than deserving of one another. We've overcome so much as a team.. as a couple. It's just.. T^T Makes me super emotional thinking about it. I'll always be grateful for his patience and love.

- The print I got Shenhe's VA to sign on a website (I think it's called streamily?), is finally complete! She's gonna ship it to the warehouse and I'll hopefully be receiving it soon c: Even though it's not for me (it's for my boyfriend for Christmas.. so late, I know), I'm very excited to receive it! ^_^ I hope he loves it. I know he will, but there are times I worry he won't like something I got for him ><

- Played ZZZ today. I lost my 50/50 the other day to Soldier 11, so I'm either going to save my guarantee for the new character, or get Ellen Joe C1 (she's my favorite hehe..). I also reached Level 42 today lol. I'm so happy about this game recently, it's just super fun. Even though I rarely pay attention to the story. Hoping Burnice comes back soon. She's my QUEEN!!!

Today was super long and busy, but we got a number of things taken care of and I've still got some nice things to post about! ;v;
☾ I got to play Pocket Camp Complete for a bit, and also finished reading volume 25 of Kimi ni Todoke!!

☾ My mom and I had more time before an appointment than we expected, so we got impromptu ice cream! 🥳

☾ GeminiTay uploaded another Hermitcraft episode, and my parents and I got to see that along with some other videos!! I saw a few itemLabel videos I hadn’t seen before on my own too!

☾ And I got to play flashlight mode hide and seek in the Among Us session this evening!! I had a blast and it was just what I needed to wind down with after today ahaha ;v; I'm super close to unlocking Coalton now too!

A couple minutes before midnight, so a REALLY late post here, but I was WRONG. The Mavs actually defeated the Thunder tonight 106-98!!! It was such a fun game and I definitely got my money's worth on it. In addition to that, I'm off work until Thursday of next week. Going to have a lot of fun relaxing and also getting things done that I've been putting off (like clearing my closet out). Couldn't have asked for a better end to the week. 🏀 🔥 💚

Aaaa sorry I've not been here as much, slowly adjusting to having a full-time job 😅
- Anyway, I'm happy because it's the weekend! I'm also glad that I'm settling into my new job okay and getting used to it. I'm slowly learning the skills for my new role :)

- This weekend I'm happy I'm getting a lot of holiday organisation done! Yesterday I booked my final annual leave for my trip to Spain (which I'm booking tomorrow), and also booked accommodation for 2 of my other (already booked) trips. I also hopefully will be making a big purchase today: my flights to Hong Kong and Tokyo for November!!! 🫢

- My brother and his family can come with us to Spain after all, which should be great

- Bought some more Korean skincare because I'm running out of cleanser. I also got the TOBOCO lemon toner that I really liked when I got a free sample a few months ago

- Ordered some books! I try to read a book from every country I visit during the year, so this year I'll be reading quite a bit...

- Made plans with my friend to meet up next weekend ❤️

- Just happy I don't have to do any commuting today or tomorrow 😅 I had a lie in until about 9am which was nice
 
It's not been a good day. But I found some good moments in it.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins came out yesterday. I've been looking forward to it for months but I've not been in a good enough mood to enjoy it now it is finally here. Although I did have two little helpers to make the hour I played more joyful.

I found the energy to cook despite really not wanting to. Made 6 portions of bolognese sauce using beef mince. Ate one for dinner with spaghetti and cheddar and put the other five in the freezer. 😋

We are having a bake-off at work on Monday, so I want to bake something tomorrow. Last time I made a lemon and blueberry cake. I'm thinking a Japanese cheesecake this time. I'd really love to try attempting a Jamaican loaf cake but one of my colleagues is allergic to cinnamon, and as far I can see it is considered an important ingredient. 🤔
 
☾ My parents and I watched an episode of Hunter x Hunter and continued with season two of Demon Slayer this morning!

☾ I worked on some art for a bit, and finished a surprise comm for Xara! 🌌

☾ Also watched a lot of Youtube (including another episode of LDShadowLady’s first Empires series)! Had a very busy week and I think I needed some time to just. watch silly things ;w;
 
- Officially booked my flights to Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea for later this year!!!! 😁

- Went shopping, ate some yummy food today and enjoyed a lazy Sunday. I had Moroccan lamb tagine w/ flatbread, fruity couscous, and hummus. Then a fresh cream chocolate cherry muffin 😋

- Also did some cooking for the first time in a while, I cooked some paprika chicken w/ beans and onions to go in my meal prepped salads. I'm trying to eat more nutritious foods while at work this week.

- Edited to add: saw my brother and his family today and we all booked our family holiday for this summer!! Very excited, this will be my first real beach-y summer holiday in a hot country 🌞I'm happy I've basically got everything booked for this year now :)

Happy today because I slept in and am having my favorite coffee drink. I also cleared out my closet FINALLY and am getting rid of a bunch of stuff, so now my room, bathroom, and closet are all clean and organized in preparation for my move in a couple months. I also got a decent raise at work as of my last paycheck, which I wasn't expecting. Finished season one of Fairy Tail too, and I REALLY love this show. Still have until Thursday before I have to go back to work, and I'm really enjoying this extra long weekend! :blush: 💚
 
☾ Got to see another episode of Demon Slayer and Haikyu this morning with my family!! We watched a little Youtube later on too, and caught up with SmallishBeans’ Hermitcraft series!

☾ I played through a few days in Story of Seasons, and my sheep, Ramsey, won the Fluffy Festival!! 🎉🐑 I knew he could do it, I’ve given him so many treats and his friendship has been maxed for ages now
 
Happy today because the Dallas STARS defeated the Detroit Red Wings yesterday 4-1!! I also played more of my games yesterday and managed to defeat both Navia and Yoimiya in Genius Invokation TCG in Genshin Impact. Then I had acquired enough experience to take on the Master rank challenge, and passed it on my first try! I also don't have martial arts tonight because of the holiday, so instead my dad and I are going to go play some billiards to take our minds off of things here. We haven't had the chance to play billiards in a couple years, so it should be really fun. Hope everyone can have a good week! 💚

☾ I’m off to a really good start in Pocket Camp Complete’s current Scavenger Hunt event! I’ll probably complete it well before the actual end date ahaha... I wish the gyroid materials didn't totally take over the quarry in these events ;u; I collected enough New Year’s wreaths to finish out the Snug Celebration goals too!

☾ I played a few more days in Story of Seasons!

☾ My parents and I watched another video in LDShadowLady’s Empires S1 series!
