1. my youtube channel is growing at a somewhat frightening rate lmaooooo
I've gained like 9 new subscribers since last night and now my Dii Party has 3.1k views???? and videos I uploaded less than a week ago already have hundreds of views??? like what is happening???

2. I need to make a PSA and say once again that @/Shellzilla_515 is an absolutely terrific friend and I'm so grateful to have him in my life

- I am flying to Japan tomorrow guys Actually can't believe it because I never thought I'd be doing this...

- My dad was super sweet and gave me some emergency money in case I get stranded at the airport or something, which I think means he's worried about me

- Ate some nice food today! A chickpea korma wrap, fruit, and a pain au chocolat with protein vanilla mousse

- I started watching the K-On movie and the plot is accidentally extremely relevant to my current situation, just going the opposite way, so that's funny

➣ My bby surprised me at work with some chinese food! This is what I always get when we go there. She knows I’ve been sad over the past day or so and she always does stuff like this when I’m sad, and she even wrote my nickname on the container if you look closely. where tf did she come from I don’t deserve this at all????

➣ I received a few kind messages and normally I don’t know how to respond to messages like that but I do really appreciate them. Each of them brought me a bit of happiness.
➣ I’m still happy to have zero closes next week (aside from my second job ofc). It’s going to be strange getting used to but I’m satisfied. It’s looking like I’m permanently moving to morning shifts.
➣ I’m really vibing with my new Bowser icon on the Switch. He looks perfect!

☾ Watched another episode of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and the latest One Piece with my family this morning! Hiyori is back omg... I'm hype
☾ Mood-wise I wasn't feeling super great today unfortunately, but I chilled out with some Youtube and worked on transferring some embroidery floss skeins (we uncovered more!!) to my little square bobbins for storage.
☾ Also made great progress in Pokemon HeartGold! Mostly finished training my team up (my new Misdreavus and HM Furret still have some catching up to do though), defeated Jasmine, finally cured the sick Miltank, and caught the Gyarados at the Lake of Rage!
☾ Got to see Katherine Elizabeth's latest Empires episode! The bees were so cute, I love the garden she made for them!!

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ i was able to finish and submit my egg decorating entry eggtry on time! it’s definitely not the greatest since my painting skills are quite sloppy haha, but i had fun making it! it feels like i haven’t done anything artistic in so long, so it was nice to have a little project to work on this weekend. :’) (i am actively ignoring my assignments xjisndjx)


ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ went for a drive with my mom! we didn’t go anywhere in particular, just drove around and listened to some music, but i had a really nice time. we saw a bunch of hawks flying around (5+), and the weather was so nice today! i haven’t gone on a drive in a while, so i had a lot of fun c: we also stopped at this bakery my mom likes on our way, and i grabbed a double chocolate scone — it was pretty tasty! i’m excited to try the cinnamon scone next ^^

I've been gone for a couple weeks, but decided to return again after feeling like I'm in a good spot to do so. So... let me catch you all up on what's been happening for me!

- The repairs on my bathroom, hallway, and room are all finished! Everything looks even better than it did before.

- Since my birthday is coming up, I purchased a new gaming laptop and Yellow Pikachu 3DS XL for myself. Got to treat yoself!

- The Dallas Stars won their last six games of the season and are playing their first playoff game against the Minnesota Wild tomorrow night!

- The Texas Rangers defeated the Houston Astros 9-1 today, capped off by a Marcus Semien grand slam! I'm still waiting to see how the season goes, but for now we're 1st in the division.

- Mostly just happy to be back here in this golden secluded area of the internet. Stay awesome, everyone.

Today I'm happy because:

- I got a decent amount of sleep last night/this morning and woke up feeling rested.
- The weather was nice and warm. It rained a bit late in the evening, but nothing too bad.
- I didn't do much of anything except relax today.
- I played a lot of Lonesome Village. I completed my fish and flower catalogues and finished the last major villager quests. I still have a few things left to do in the game to 100% it, but I'm basically in post-game now.
- I'm having fun playing FFXIV with my husband. We finished a story quest that I particularly enjoyed tonight.
- My dog was extra sweet and laid on my lap tonight.

-I got an interview for a job I applied to partially on a whim. It seems good, but I'm not positive if I would actually take a job offer from them since there is a lot more out there I haven't looked at yet. I'm still going to go through with the interview for experience, at least.
-Since coming back from my trip to Korea last month I have consistently been studying Korean everyday! It'll be good to see that 1 month streak on Anki
-The trip changed my perspective a lot and put me in a much better mood, so everyday I'm thankful I quit scrolling Twitter and Reddit lol I'm surprised at how much more free time I have. I also go to bed earlier and remember to go to the gym.
-Golden Week is about 2 weeks away here in Japan. It's a string of consecutive national holidays, and this year it worked out to be 5 days off in a row! Everywhere will be packed for traveling but it's still a good chance so I'm thinking daily about what plans I want to make for domestic travel (airplane tickets are x3 the normal price for this period lol)
-I like the egg I drew for my avatar

I didn’t get a chance to post about this earlier, but I’m very thankful for everyone who helped me achieve my dream Sailor Moon/Crescent Moon lineup!

From those who helped with hints for the egg hunt, to those who let me buy Cresent Moon Eggs from them (even if I’m now broke) and of course those who took part in putting messages on each egg for me.

|>I feel pretty relaxed despite feeling frustration (yeah how does that make sense?). Like my body doesn't feel the tense of it I guess.
|>Later today we are going to eat out with some family that came in out of state. It will be nice. idk where we are going yet though.
|>I feel like I am making progress with my little game project. I made all the pieces (though I do make edits here and there where I missed up) customization of the player. I didn't count all the pieces, but it is ALOT. Mostly hair. I've been working on sticking them in the engine right now and getting the animation tree set up for it bit by bit. It isn't hard, it is just tedious if you don't feel both focused and relaxed. Once I get that done, then I can work on the coding and then on my menu more and then get it connected. Then try to get it to upload into a scene. That all will take weeks 2 months? since I am not working on it every waking minute because I have other things to tend to too.
|>I am also happy that my spouse and I have been playing a "particular monster taming game" Opalo Version, together. The game is really good impo. We have been having fun with it and have been looking forward to playing it at the same time together when we aren't too tired and have time. We laughed a few times. And we almost died a couple.
|> I am happy that over a year searching, I finally have an eevee egg for my dog plush line up I am building. I look forward to cracking it out this fall.
|> My onions are going strong even though I only have like 5. lol. And my second batch of cabbage seedlings are looking great.
|>I am also happy to have met so many people in person who seem nice. Idk if it was because it was a casual setting and casual interaction but it is nice to see. It is just something I am really noticing this year. I don't know if that is because of all the very negative experiences I have had before while working retail or I was just really lucky to meet that many people in a small area/environment. Either way it is cool to see something nice.

For yesterday, I’m happy that I got to get outside and get some gardening done. I needed to cut back the dead blossoms on my Peonies and Hydrangea bushes from last year’s blooms and add acidifier to the soil to get this year’s Hydrangea blossoms to be blue. Took a pH sample of the soil beforehand and it was between 7.0-7.5, which is neutral-alkaline and the soil for blue blossoms on Hydrangeas needs to be 4.0-5.0 aka: very acidic. Luckily, I have perennials between my Hydrangeas and English Lavender that don’t care about the pH level, because the Lavender likes it right where it is at the 7.0 mark! I really, really love gardening and wish I had more time to devote to it.

I was also happy to finish my egg for the decorating contest yesterday and I’m happy that it turned out way better than I initially imagined it would.

For today, I’m happy that I’m able to have a calm day. It’s raining today, so I can’t really get out and do more gardening, but after working so much on my egg this past week, I‘m thankful for the time to relax.

☾ Made more good progress in Pokémon HeartGold! Got the Glacier Badge and was able to finish the storyline in Goldenrod City, so now I've just gotta train my team up again to take on Clair!
☾ Watched a GoodTimesWithScar Hermitcraft episode with my family! Scarland is really coming along incredibly—I love all the stuff they do with customized carved pumpkins.

Today I'm happy because:

- I had a calm, easy day at work. I finished everything that I had to complete today and logged off on time. That's very rare for a Monday.
- I got some of the recycling that had been piling up prepped for the bin.
- The weather was decent, sunny and cool but not too cold.
- Since I felt a bit chilly all day, I really enjoyed my hot shower this evening.

not for today specifically, rather for the past week or so, but my crush is like so cute please he's so gentle and sweet. he recommends me songs that he thinks I will enjoy, (I will enjoy just because they are from him, but he sends me songs that are exactly my style), he comforts me so well, he's just so good.
