➣ My favorite person was so sweet today as always. I went off again about how I didn’t wanna bother her but she cut me off immediately and said I don’t bother her. Usually my rambles lead to panic attacks so I’m thankful she knows when to intervene and not let it get to that point.
➣ Somewhat related, but I had typically have on a shoulder sling bag I use to carry my stuff. I had it on, and while she was hugging me she slid her hand under the bag so she was holding me rather than the bag. Of course, I noticed. Things like that are what gets me, lol.
➣ This picture of Keagan brought a smile to my face. I haven’t seen him in so long because my grandma recently moved, so seeing this made me happy. He’s looks so happy here.
Just kidding about the spoiler, lol. I just don’t get along with the cat, sadly. His name is Bowser.

Today I'm happy because:

- The weather was lovely, warm and sunny again.
- I had a calm work day and, even though I didn't complete everything I wanted to do, I did get some important things done.
- I was able to take walks on both my morning and afternoon breaks.
- I had Japanese takeout for dinner. It was delicious.
- I found a Raspberry White Tea at the grocery store. I can't wait to try it.
- It's Friday! I'm ready to enjoy the weekend!

☾ I got started on my third route in Lover Pretend!
☾ Explored the Ruins of Alph and Mt. Mortar as much as I could for the time being in Pokémon HeartGold, and then made it all the way to the Indigo Plateau! I want to get some more prep/training in (and probably switch some moves around) before tackling the Elite Four, but I'm glad to have gotten to this checkpoint at least!
☾ My family and I watched Grian's final episode of Limited Life, and oh my god... that ending. This series has been a blast and I hope there will be another Life series in the future! ^^
☾ I've been a little hesitant to mention it, but so far at least I've seen some honestly pretty dramatic improvements in my mood/energy/resilience since I've been on my new medication, with little to nothing in the way of side effects. I really really hope they keep working this well for me!

okay so first, my anxiety isn't as bad as it was (I actually remembered to take my anxiety meds today oops--) so I was able to spend the day doing some laundry for my first day of work tomorrow. I was also able to actually eat something for the first time in like 4 days which is a relief.

also for the last few days I've been playing Tomodachi Life! specifically this is the European version and there's so many odd discrepancies between the EU and NA versions lol. I took a bunch of pics and I really want to share my favorite ones, so I'll put them in a spoiler!

there's an island event that isn't in the NA version of the game at all called Word Chain, where they choose the category (food items, treasure items, or both) and then one mii calls out the name of an item while the other follows up with another item that starts with the letter the other word ended with, and so on. Lucia won this round bc of course she did.

These last two weeks have been busy for me dealing with college attacking a bunch of finals and practical tests. I was also facing a couple of personal issues that I won’t go into making it a bit tougher for me. But despite all that, I survived and I’m glad to be back while obliterating notifications in the process lol. Can I remember all the stuff that’s happened since?

Spoiler: April 10, 2023 to April 20, 2023

• Before I went on a hiatus, I enjoyed taking part in the egg hunt event with some requiring me to find them solo. While I did get some help, it made me feel so great finding a few eggs on my own! I ended up getting enough egg currency to buy all the collectibles I want and I’m pretty content with them.
• Feel free to skip this point. While I was on my way home from college, I spotted a 2023 Nissan Z! I only saw it from behind for a split second, but it was all I needed to recognize this car. Oh, and I even have a hotwheels toy that I bought eventually, so that’s a double whammy!

The lighting isn’t that great (there’s too much glare if anything) so this is what I got lol.

• Throughout the past two weeks, there were finals and tests I had to take and I did pretty well on them! Since the class was free to leave early upon completion, I took the opportunity to go for a walk and get a bit of exercise. In a way, it was calming my mind and putting me in a good mood.
• It got pretty hot over the weekend which meant I didn’t have to wear a sweater outdoors lol. The weather was also pretty decent with sunny skies around this time too adding to that summer feel.
• The trailer dropped for The Legend of Zelda - Tears of the Kingdom! Crazy how we’re less than a month away from the game’s release!
• This next point is gonna sound pretty silly to some. My dad told me to go buy a cabin air filter at a parts store as we needed to change the old one. I looked up on youtube on how to install it and was very easy to do. So easy that I legit did it after watching the video and only took me a couple of minutes to complete. While approximately $25 was spent buying the filter in the first place, we ended up saving a lot of money. Apparently, having it get serviced would already cost around $100. Why waste $75 more when you can do it yourself, right? This actually marks the first time I did “maintenance” on a car even though it doesn’t particularly do much, but I was very happy about it. Hopefully, I can do more significant maintenance such as an oil change or replacing the air filter. My dad has been eyeing getting the spark plugs replaced on our own which I personally find to be an ambitious task. But then again, I sorta gained the experience back when one of my classes involved disassembling an engine!
• At one point, @/Mona (aka Riley because who knows when he’ll change his username again lol) came to check up on me for some time over on discord. We ended up talking about a few things too and I’m glad to have a friend like him. Thank you, friendo.
• I made pixel art over on Inkscape!
• I went to Walmart with my mother the other day and I found this spiny shell plushie which entertained me quite a bit haha

• I’ve been playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Gran Turismo 7 on and off to help ease the stress dealing with college stuff. By the way, I forgot to mention last month that the 2019 Mazda3 that got added to the latter in an update is another one of those cars I’ve seen in real life. Multiple times and is pretty common in my area actually, so into the identified car list it goes! It’d be pretty hilarious if it made an appearance in Mario Kart as well. XD

• I felt energized this morning as I got a decent amount of sleep. I’m glad that I didn’t feel half awake for the entire day lol.
• I had to do one more exam and… I did great on it! The semester has wrapped up so now I can relax for now and get back to doing a couple of hobbies that I want to do again. Overall, my marks across my classes are great and I really enjoyed learning more stuff about cars from a mechanical, emissions, and electrical standpoint. LET’S GOOOOOOOOO!

• After doing really well on the final exam for the semester, I treated myself to buy another hotwheels toy that I’ve been eyeing a couple of days ago at this one store. It’s an Alpine A110 and I really like it! I still very much remember seeing this in person almost a year ago at this car show along with a few others. It’s definitely one of those things that’s very memorable to me.

I didn't buy this Porsche 918 Spyder, but it's still pretty awesome seeing this.

• I also treated myself some cajun poutine from Popeyes and they tasted yummy!
• I went for a walk in the area that interested me. I also managed to see a fluffy rough collie in the process!
• Logging back on to TBT after not doing so in almost two weeks, it warms my heart to see that @/Roxxy, @/BrokenSanity, @/-Blue-, and @/S.J. dropped a message on my profile during my hiatus wishing me the best of luck to my finals. I appreciate that guys, and if you read this far, you already know that I kicked butt and did well on them! Metaphorically speaking, I didn’t crash into a barrier due to my noob driving in video games lol.
• Feel free to skip this point. It’s actually from a few days ago but I still feel pretty happy thinking about it. While I was at the college library minding my own business focusing on my studies, I heard some engine noises. Looking out the window, I was absolutely shocked spotting a Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34)! My mind basically went, "Finally, after so long, I have spotted you at last!". Had I not bothered to study at the library, I very well could’ve missed out on seeing this awesome car.

• Feel free to skip this point too. Oh, but that didn’t end there. This marks the 190th car on the list and I’d argue that it’s better than the Nissan I just mentioned, and I think @/LadyDestani would love to hear this. I was losing my mind when I saw a Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1! I have seen my fair share of C6 Corvettes once in a while, but this particular trim is the first time ever I’ve spotted one with my own eyes! What makes it even extra special to me is that in Gran Turismo 7, I was given this car as a birthday gift from last year. I actually took a couple of irl photos. Though, I want to stress the fact I only did just that and admire its looks for a bit. Ultimately, it’s someone’s property and I don’t want to disrespect it in any way by touching it. I’m glad that whoever owns this Corvette taking good care of it and hopefully continues to run in good condition for many years to come.

To further prove that it’s genuinely a ZR1 and not some badge that they stuck on there, a small window on the hood is present which partially showcases the Corvette’s engine! It writes out LS9 Supercharged on the sides and it’s pretty cool!

He definitely played a part in helping me get through my challenging times and I’m glad that Bug has been having a great time vibing with me talking about numerous things. It also makes me happy to hear the positive things that have been happening to him in recent times with his new job, gaining subscribers on his youtube channel, and a few others. Bug, if you see this, thank you for being a great friend. I don't know if there are more words to describe how thankful I am.

This week was a lot. I basically worked and slept. I felt so happy waking up this morning and thinking about how it's Saturday, which is what brings me here!

• It's the weekend!
• I finally had a chance to work on/finish a drawing for @/mimicheems. The inspiration to draw has been lovely!
• I'm a little late to mention, but I received a gift from @/Croconaw, and I was so touched. It has made my whole week.
• I took my dog to the forest to walk around today. She was super happy. I love to see her little doggy smile.
• Today I bought a bike?! I think it's pretty cute. It's light blue with cream fenders, and a basket on the front. I ended up changing gears too fast today and the chain slid off, but luckily it was easy to put back on.

Had to break our few second hug though since she said that’s enough, lol. Still wasn’t rude at all about it but I understand she does have some boundaries. I just love how she never yells or gets mad regardless of how annoying I may be sometimes most of the time, lol.
➣ My dad mentioned something to me a few days ago that made me smile. My dad told my favorite person I loved her dog and she got slightly jealous, lol. She didn’t feel better or even smile until he said “Don’t worry, they love you more.” She even blushed a little he said, haha. Last time we hung I was paying more attention to her than her dog, so I don’t get the confusion, lol.
My dad obviously said she and not they, but I can’t bring myself to use the feminine pronouns for myself when I don’t like it.
➣ I’m seeing my friend that I’m going to Disney World with next week. I’m looking forward to seeing her. We went to Starbucks last time and had some pizza. My mom is even taking us to this expensive restaurant she works at and I’m eager to try the food. We aren’t going to Disney yet since that’s still a few months away, but it doesn’t mean I can’t be excited for it, haha. We’ve also been playing on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a lot and it’s been fun playing together!
➣ I work at my second job today and that’s nice for some extra cash. The second job is a lot less work it seems than my main one but I’m getting paid the same due to a contract between both stores, so I’m okay with it!

Today I'm happy because:

- I played some Tetris 99 last night and earned enough points for the new Kirby theme. More importantly, I completed the max level (99), so now I'm at 1*.
- I slept pretty well last night and got to sleep in this morning.
- I spent some quality time with my husband and my dog.
- I have now found/released all the villagers in Lonesome Village. I just have a few more things to do in order to fully complete the game.
- I received surprise gifts from @/Mona and @/Mr_Keroppi. It was so very thoughtful of them. I'm touched.
- I'm looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow and playing some more games.

There's a white Skyline in the area where I live and every time I see it I think of you. They're really nice cars and rare. My husband loves them.

After searching for one of the limited run giant Buizel plushes from 2016 for several months now with no luck finding even one for sale, the hunt is finally over! These plushes are rarely posted for sale and tend to sell very quickly, so I'm glad I was lucky enough to snag this one. Waiting for it to arrive is going to be the hard part though! It's shipping from overseas so it's going to take a bit of time to get here. I can't wait for it to arrive!
