What Are You Happy About Today?

Here's what happened yesterday:
- Ate some yummy scrambled eggs for breakfast.
- Played some video games and I caught a shiny Indeedee (male) in Pokemon Scarlet.
- Played some mobile games and unlocked Jasmine in Pokemon Masters. I just wanted to play it since Adaman and Irida from PL: Arceus are available to scout.
- Watched a football match and I'm glad that the team I was rooting for won.

And here's a recap of what happened today:
- I ate some yummy noodles with ketchup for dinner.
- Watched some anime in the evening.
- Spent time with the cats and they were very cute and affectionate.
- Worked up a good sweat at home and did some upper and lower body exercises.
- Played AC: New Horizons and I convinced Judy to move to my island when I found her on a mystery island tour. She matches my island theme, so I can't wait to have her on my island!

• My birthday is tomorrow! I turn 29
• I've been watching and thoroughly enjoying every minute of the anime Demon Slayer
• I recently got into the Yugioh TCG with my boyfriend, we're both learning and playing together over video chat (we're long distance right now). Anyway I'm having a lot of fun with it! I just got three sets of each of two new structure decks , so I can build slightly better decks. It's such a cool and fun game
• I got a new iPhone, an iPhone 12. My old phone was an iPhone 8 plus so it's definitely a big upgrade and I'm really happy with it

- I slept in and feel much better.

- Played some video games and about to play some more.

- Used the pool and got some sunshine! I really need it for my skin.

- Watched the newest episode of Demon Slayer.

- Loved on my kitty and let her into my room.

- The Texas Rangers DEMOLISHED the Seattle Mariners 16-6 and take the series victory, regardless of tomorrow's outcome. Haha, yeah!!

yesterday was possibly the worst day i've had in the entire year (honestly an improvement from last year when i felt constantly ****ty all the time) but today is my birthday!! it's definitely been a calm day but a good day nonetheless finally an official adult!

Today my husband and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary!!!

We didn't do much but it was a really nice day. First, I slept in so I felt rested and I did some self-care. We spent a lot of quality time together at home. Everything was pretty chill. We watched some TV and I watched him play Tears of the Kingdom while I played with our dog and scrolled through the forum. I got a lot of entertainment because he decided to launch a Korok into the air to get it up a hill to its friend and it overshot the target by a long way, rolling down a huge embankment past a bunch of enemies on the other side. It took him like 20 minutes to find the Korok again and get it all the way up the hill the proper way. That poor Korok was traumatized.

This evening we went out to dinner at one of our favorite local Italian restaurants. They serve the most amazing calzones and strombolis. I got a veggie stromboli and brought half of it home for tomorrow. It's a bit of a drive from our house so we had lots of time during the car ride and dinner to talk. It was nice to have some deep conversation.

Now we're just relaxing again and about to play some FFXIV together. To quote the shirt my husband wore tonight, "The couple that slays together, stays together."

➣ I went to Golden Corral with my friend today! We also made some moon cookies, specifically for the full moon, but she had to throw some Stitch cookies in! She’s really into Disney, but Stitch is her whole life, lmao. They aren’t the best looking but they are homemade!

➣ I wanted to order a pair of swim trunks and my mom paid for them! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting it. I had the money ready to pay her back since I was just using her Amazon Prime. They arrive tomorrow, so I will definitely post a picture once they arrive. They are a different pair than the ones I posted about previously, but they were around the same price. I just couldn’t pass up these ones.
➣ This may sound lame, but I accessed TBT via laptop for the first time ever. I used my mom’s laptop to browse the site a bit and got to experience it in desktop mode. It’s a lot different than accessing it on my mobile phone.
➣ My favorite person is just amazing, like the best favorite person I could ever ask for. Like, she truly doesn’t mind how much of a pain I can be and never makes me feel bad for who I am. It’s easy to be myself with her. *randomly puts this in here because words can never accurately describe how sweet she is but that doesn’t stop me from trying*

☾ Immediately after hearing about the Pokémon Legends: Arceus event in Pokémon Masters EX (in this thread ahaha, thank you thank you @Kamex!!), I downloaded the game for the first time and was able to scout Adaman with some of the free gems I got!!! I am extremely happy. Friendship with Adaman Simulator ft. Voice Acting is a dream come true for me tbh
☾ Rewatched three episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood with my family this morning! We're planning to re-watch the final two episodes tomorrow eeee!!
☾ I made a few more rubber band bracelets!
☾ And pretty much spent most of the day chilling out and watching some videos! My parents and I caught up with Grian's latest Hermitcraft episode this evening too. ^^

i wasn’t really planning on posting today since i honestly didn’t have the best day today, but i wanted to force myself to focus on the few good things that did happen today, instead of dwindling on the bad not every day can be good, but hopefully tomorrow will be better! night friends

*⁀➷ i received my mark back on an assignment i completed a couple of days ago, and i got full marks!! it was my last regular assignment for that class, so i’m glad i did well on it!

I went to my grandparents for an early birthday party for my dad and I (my birthday is June 9th, his is June 11th). We probably would have done it next weekend, but because they will be out of town next weekend, we did it this weekend instead. ^^ I got some new dresses and some money from my grandparents. I also ate a burger, chips, cake, and ice cream. I also took a dip in their pool ^^

I used a lot of the money to purchase points on DeviantArt and ordered some commissions with the points ^_^

Happy today because I decided to keep my cute, pink and pretty theme. I figured I can still like other things too and still go with the things I love. Who says you can't mix it up? Anyway, finally got my Switch reset up and are now ready to play again and start fresh. Thankfully my friend is so kind to hold onto my stuff for my Pokémon and AC:NH games.

Also, not sure if this is to be happy about, it's like almost 2am and I'm not sleeping to good right now, but it's very peaceful right now here in the wee morning hours. It's cool temperatures and I'm listening to the crickets. So peaceful. So, I'm a little happy.

- Slept really well last night after doing a 20 min workout and cleaning my floor! I think I can really see/feel my arm muscles growing too

- Ate pretty healthy today, lots of fruit and vegetables

I had a good day today, it's my birthday. I got some cool gifts

My sister got me some new yugioh decks, and some cash

My boyfriend got me violin rosin, a violin bow, violin strings, new strings for both my tenor and soprano ukuleles, card sleeves for my yugioh cards, and a nice deck box

And the screen protector I bought for my new iphone came today, it's really nice and I like that it came with a camera lense protector too. So now I have a case and screen protector on it, so it's good and protected.

I'm just enjoying the evening drinking some coffee and listening to the Demon Slayer soundtrack. Will probably watch some anime later. Played a couple rounds of Yugioh with my boyfriend over video chat today

Today's been great!

- The sun is out again, so I used the pool and got some sunshine.

- I played a lot of Genshin Impact and finished the Genius Invokations TCG Grand Prix event. It was a lot of fun!

- Going to watch the newest Demon Slayer episode.

- Despite not getting restful sleep (my kitty cuddled with me in bed and I fell asleep without taking my night meds), I'm glad I get tomorrow off work, so I can get some better sleep tonight without having to worry about waking up at a certain time.

- Oh yeah, and last but not least, the Texas "Power" Rangers beat the Seattle Mariners again today 12-3 to sweep them and improve to 38-20 on the season!!!

had a pretty chill day today, but it was thankfully much better than yesterday was i hope you all had a good weekend, and that you’ll have a lovely week ahead!

*⁀➷ i slept a lot better last night than i did the past couple of nights! i was able to sleep for longer periods of time instead of waking up every few hours, and it was more restful sleep as well! a good night’s sleep was honestly just what i needed to help me not be so grumpy today haha

*⁀➷ i helped my parents make dinner! i chopped up the sausages and veggies for the stir-fry we had, and everything turned out delicious! i’m looking forward to having leftovers over the next couple of days

*⁀➷ she she doesn’t sleep in the bed my mom bought her very often, but she always looks so adorable when she does!

☾ My parents and I finished our rewatch of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood this morning!! What an absolutely incredible series—I'm so glad to have revisited it. We also got to see the newest One Piece episode afterwards! ^^
☾ I completed the Community Center in Stardew Valley!! I've also been working on some more quests, and also just trying to catch more fish, since there's still a lot that I haven't caught yet.
☾ We watched a little more Youtube and saw GeminiTay's second episode of New Life!
☾ I saw some new official art of one of my comfort characters!! ;v;

Today I'm happy because:

- I saw Mortimer, the bat, hanging out on my back porch again last night.
- I saw Fiona, the groundhog, sitting next to her den this evening.
- I stayed up a bit too late last night, but I got to sleep in this morning so I still got enough rest.
- I watched another episode of Made in Abyss. Just one more to go and I'll be done with season 1.
- I played some Tetris and Kirby's Return to Dreamland.
- I had a relaxing day at home but I also got a few chores done, so I felt productive.
- My husband and my dog were both very sweet to me.
- Tomorrow I get to have a sloth encounter at my local aquarium!!! I went ahead and purchased an annual pass after our first visit a few months ago so I got discounts on everything and it's nearly paid for the annual pass already. This will be my first of hopefully many encounters there and I'm so excited about it! I love sloths!
