Finished unpacking ground floor yesterday.

Walked 3 miles today.

➣ My swim trunks came today. I tried them on earlier but I didn’t snap a picture, and I don’t want to try them on again since I already have my pants on. They’ll be paired with a plain black swim shirt. They sit right above the knee which is perfect.

➣ I realized that I’m getting paid earlier because of the payday being a holiday (June 19th). Now, I’ll be getting paid on the Tuesday before or something — basically, in about a week from today. I didn’t realize this was a holiday pay week, so I was ecstatic.
➣ I’m looking forward to the next Camp Bell Tree! It was something I enjoyed last time and I can’t wait to participate as a more active member now. I hope it’s a good experience for me! I love these larger events.
➣ I’m in the process of washing my bedsheets again today so I will be sleeping on some fresh sheets tonight. My swim trunks and swim shirt are also being washed so they can go right into my backpack. I may try them on once more in the future just so I can take a picture of the fit. Also, I think my favorite person wants to teach me how to swim take me swimming, in which case I will definitely need these again.

☾ I played some more Stardew Valley and I can access Ginger Island now! I think I might try and do a few more things before I actually go there though.
☾ Also got another member of my team in Pokémon HeartGold to level 100!
☾ My family and I watched Katherine Elizabeth's second episode of New Life this evening!

Today has been another great day!

- Was able to sleep in and get plenty of sleep.

- Played some video games and completed a trade with @/coffeeplant. Thank you for the shiny Gastly!

- Went to martial arts tonight for the first time in several weeks, and oddly enough, I thought my techniques were on point (which is a good thing, because last time I went I definitely didn't feel that way ).

- The Texas Rangers just walked it off in the bottom of the 9th inning against the St. Louis Cardinals!! 4-3 the final.

Today we went back to our local aquarium and I had my sloth encounter!!! It was just as amazing as I hoped it would be!

I got to feed and pet this beautiful two-toed sloth named Aurora. Her fur was so much softer than I thought it would be. It looks wiry and coarse, but especially on her back and belly it was really plush. She was very hungry and quite impatient. When I didn't feed her fast enough, she would grab my hand and pull it towards her. It was such a great experience. I couldn't stop smiling the whole time.

We also paid the savannah cats, Luna and Versace, another visit. Versace was feeling anti-social but Luna stuck around and let us pet her the entire time.

We did a quick walk-through of all the exhibits again and I came across a few new animals we hadn't seen or photographed last time.

They added a few more. This time they had a total of six in three different colors: 2 white, 2 black, and 2 brown.

This big guy was there last time but wasn't laying in a good position to photograph. I'm glad I got a better look this time.

I don't remember seeing these last time at all. They were in a small tank off to the side so maybe we missed them or maybe they were added later. Either way I was so excited to find them. One was irridescent with super bright, shiny eyes!

*⁀➷ i’m super excited for the celebrating diversity event to start on wednesday!! i had a lot of fun getting to draw a villager version of myself last year, i can’t wait to see what this year’s event will entail! i’m also looking forward to seeing everyone else’s entries <3

*⁀➷ i had a pretty decent start to the school week! i was kinda nervous about my third culminating assignment being introduced today, but it looks like it’ll actually be the easiest one to complete! i might even be able to get it done this week

*⁀➷ i also worked on my other culminating assignments! i admittedly didn’t make much progress with how tired i was today, but i’ll get there! just gotta do a little bit at a time :’)

*⁀➷ did my daily self-care! i managed to take a nice shower despite the sleepiness, and it definitely helped lift me up a bit ^^

THE AXOLOTLS?????? look at their little faces omg all of the critters you shared are so cool!! aurora is absolutely adorable, and i love how fluffy the silkie chickens look! the asian water monitor also looks super cool <33

A WILD PIGEON SAT WITH ME! Actually this is a rock dove, but thats the more common colloquial, it seems like it recognises my face. It jumped up and sat next to me on a bench randomly then again on a rock when there was a flock of doves next to me. I KNOW it was the same bird both times I feel so happy about it Hope I see it again next time I visit

☾ I know I was just squeeing about Jack Jeanne yesterday but!! Aksys Games posted another teaser trailer on their Instagram with voice snippets!! I am so hyped for my first otome with a voiced MC!!!
☾ I got Adaman's friendship up to level 10 in Pokemon Masters EX!! ;w; The little bonus story was so cute eeeeee
☾ I played a little more Stardew Valley! Trying to hunt Dust Sprites so I can get myself one of these lovely Burglar Rings I've heard so much about
☾ Also had some time to level my team in HeartGold! I got two more Pokémon maxed out and even my lowest leveled is above 80 now!
☾ My family and I also got to see fWhip's new episode of New Life! The Create Mod stuff seems really cool, and I love the factory he's building so far.

Today I'm happy because:

- I slept really deeply last night and I got to sleep in this morning. I've been feeling so rested during my vacation.
- The weather was really nice when we went on our afternoon walk. I saw a couple of the neighborhood dogs.
- I saw two of the groundhogs, Fergie and Fiona, hanging out at the entrance to their burrow.
- My dog was very sweet to me and laid on my lap today.
- I played some games and finished the main story quest in Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe.
- I finished season 1 of Made in Abyss and I seriously love this anime! It might make my top ranked list if the quality remains high and it has a good ending. The ending to season 1 was just...

Today was another great day!

- Got up and was productive at work.

- Played some video games and got Silver Wolf in Honkai: Star Rail!

- Got groceries as well as a special gift for Father's Day.

- The Texas Rangers beat the St. Louis Cardinals again, this time 6-4, and are now 40-20 on the season!!!

-I got some weeding done.
-Finally got a bunch of marigolds planted.
-I'm happy the cat I randomly found in my garage is gone and with it's owner.
-My dogs are feeling much better and enjoyed being outside with me today.
-Found some cool games from an indie direct that aired today that I have interest in and most of them have demos. Already tried two I really really like.
-Just thankful for some everyday little things but to me they aren't little.

i had a pretty nice day today!!

*⁀➷ after not sleeping very well on monday, i slept much better last night! it took me a bit to actually fall asleep, but i slept very restfully once i did, and i even got to sleep in a little today!

*⁀➷ i managed to drag myself to both of my afternoon classes, and had another chill day at school! i can’t believe i only have 10 days of classes left until i’m done forever :’o

*⁀➷ the bonkster cuddled with me this afternoon i sadly didn’t get any pics since she caught me without my phone lol, and it was a brief cuddle since something else caught her attention, but i still cherished it she isn’t a very cuddly cat, so i’m always so happy whenever she decides to lay with me

*⁀➷ i went out with my mom after school! i wasn’t super excited about it at first because of how smoky and hazy it is out there from the forest fires (i’m safe where i am; the wind is just bringing the smoke here), but it actually wasn’t super bad out there! we went out in the evening, so it was cool and breezy out there; just how i like it! i got to pick up some things i needed at the store, and my mom and i got mcdonalds for dinner! i’ve been craving chicken nuggets for a while, so it hit just the spot my mom and i also saw a bunch of hawks, a bunny, and someone taking their cat (black cat; gorgeous kitty ) for a walk on the way!

*⁀➷ acquired a boo egg (ty again @Jhine7 )!! now i just need to dt it for an earlier date, and my halloween lineup for this year will finally be complete!

The weather finally seems to be consistently gorgeous, and I went on my first hike of the year yesterday afternoon! Only did ~3 miles this time but am looking so forward to an entire summer of long hikes and reconnecting with nature.

- Did my 5 hours of work today

- Finished off my final rice crackers from Japan, a bittersweet feeling, they were delicious

- Had a bath and washed my hair after work, so feeling more refreshed

Im happy to be alive and experience/seen some things. I mean I was born in the 90s and I feel like the technological age was starting to really take off then. But at the same time, some older aspects of life was still around. And now we are seeing some crazy things with computers.
Also taking the time to think about time. The chances of you being alive at the same time as another person or animal you love.
Maybe it seems dumb to mention but I'm happy I have ice cream. It's been crazy expensive due to inflation but we got some in a bucket for a good price and it has been warm outside.
