So from what we've seen, there are quite a few new cute features revealed in New Horizons! I wanted to know some of your favorites!

I really loved how the animals were in different clothing. Fuchsia and Goldie's dresses were super cute, and I loved how Eunice and Freya were in long sleeves for the winter!

I'm really excited about the flower crowns and wreaths you can make from the flowers as well!

I am ridiculously hyped over the ability to vault over a river ❤️
I wonder if there will be other opportunities to use that pole vault ... over cliff rocks? ... I know... just silly ... haha

Furniture outside for sure, it means we can make little gardens for ourselves.

Furniture outside, moving items half a unit after placing it, and the wreath's on the doors were the things that immediately stood out to me.

The new gardening mechanics. I mean seriously. Does this Image just not SCREAM Viva Pi?ata!?

Just me? Then how about Harvest Moon? Stardew Valley? I'm quite at a loss.... But I really love that image. It creates that you can do so much more for your town.

I feel like the house designs of the villager homes look almost like the houses in City Folk, which I personally always LOVED so much more than the New Leaf villager home designs. They look so homey and appropriately large/rectangular... Maybe that means there's a variation in villager home size and layout, similar to HHD.

I love the furniture outside. I’ve wanted that sine GameCube. I also like the idea of crafting!

I'm ecstatic by the fact that you start out with a clean slate. A deserted island furnished with lush vegetation. I'm looking forward starting from scratch and building something quite unique on a very long scale. I don't want to experience everything there is to see on my first year. I still want my village to grow, change over the years.

Can we just talk about the part where the player jumped over the river with a vaulting pole? That was amazing lol

Also, the player girl's hair is shiny and actually bounces around while she walks??? Little details like this make the game so much more lifelike!

as a black player, SKIN TONE. I hate having to make it summer to tan my characters!! I wish they did the update for darker for ACNL during amiibo.

Yes!! I'm so happy for this! I'm ghost pale in real life, and was happy to see there being more skin tones in HHD and PC. I'm so glad you can choose from the jump in NH instead of tanning for desired color!

Probably going to miss something, but I really like being able to put down paths and there are less limitations on furniture in general (able to be outside, does not need to be on exact squares, etc.).
I seriously need to take a look at every portion of the trailer.

i like being able to change skin tone, put my house on the beach, put down outdoor furniture wherever i want, put down natural paths, and make my island the way i want, to name a few features

I really appreciated the atmospheric details they added in. The wind and cloud shadows are lovely ~

Ohh I'm LOVING the atmospheric details. Even the weeds look more realistic. Everything gently swaying in the wind... ahhh.. It makes the world seem more alive. Even the villagers were holding sticks and stuff :'D

Seeing fuchsia holding that bundle of sticks didn't register until I watched the trailer a few more times, it seemed so natural. The small details they've added so far have been lovely ~

Furniture outside. You can get ridiculously creative with that. Happy Home Designer proved that, but this will obviously be on a much larger scale.

I also like that we can make dirt paths natively in the game, without having to force grass wear to get it.

Am I blind? Where did we see the option to choose skin tone?
Cool if we're getting it, though. Then I can stay pale as heck without having to worry about tanning in the summer, hopefully.
EDIT: Found the Kotaku article that confirmed it.

Otherwise, I'm so excited for the crafting system, it looks really fun! And being able to place furniture outside is something I've been waiting for for so long, so I'm looking forward to that, as well.

There was nothing really exciting revealed though.

We do the usual stuff only now we have to collect lots of wood to build everything.

They spent quite a bit of time showing us how we can control two people.

That didn't thrill me.

There has to be something more exciting in store, surely?
