What comforts you when you feel really upset?

When i'm upset, I usually get on Splatoon which helps me get my anger out since i'm.. well, you know.
Also, when i'm depressed, I typically blast my favorite songs or watch my favorite shows. This helps me with anger as well.

i would play animal crossing when i'm upset but it's not my kind of game for helping me get through stuff to be honest. i'm more of a casual player.
 
Hmmm for me there are a lot of things! Talking with my friends aboyt my priblems and then lightheartedly playing a game while on call makes me happy!
Listening to my favourite music or playing my favourite games (especially acnh) relaxes me too!
 
Talking to my girl is definitely the number one thing that cheers me up. Her voice is just incredibly soothing and she’s so sweet. Aside from that, listening to music and sleeping sometimes helps. Although, talking is the big thing because sometimes you need someone who truly cares. Having someone just listen to you is a nice feeling.
 
my hyperfixations usually help me alot!! rn im hyperfixated on fnaf so thinking about my favorite characters and looking at fanart helps me feel better :]
 
Usually when I'm upset my partners can immediately tell and they'll hang out with me and try to make me laugh or they'll just listen to me rant for a while. If it's something I don't want to bother them with I just overstimulate my brain until I can't think about what's upsetting me lol. I'll usually play 2 games at once while watching Youtube or Netflix in the background while listening to music as well.
 
Um cannabis tbh. It's completely legal in Canada. Also, Ativan. And drowning myself in a game while listening to a theory-heavy podcast like Red Menace or Teach Me Communism.
 
Playing a relaxing rpg, holding one of my stuffed animals that is really fluffy, wrapping up like a burrito in my blankets and playing ACNH.
 
My partner who always looks like in her teen years and never ages and our cute lil' daughter ("little" lol probably not that much anymore). Also, playing video games if that isn't obvious enough.
 
I’m going to post here again since I just went through something rough and had to reconsider my methods.

Physical activity is still what helps me the most when I’m upset. This can be anything from a brisk walk or intense cycling. If I go for at least an hour I usually feel a difference. The endorphins do wonders.

The other thing is reading a book at a good speed. I don’t like reading slowly since that can lead to rumination or pauses. If I read too quickly I miss important details. The key is going at a steady pace. Don’t stop for more than a second at periods and you’re good.

My last ditch effort is an intense video game to channel my frustration. Action RPGs, rhythm games, and hack and slashes are perfect for that.
 
Snuggling with my cat, playing videogames, reading, re-watching The Vampire Diaries/The Originals, reading manga, re-watching my favorite anime series. Watching Christmas movies.

Taking walks helps me too, and doing yoga
