What comforts you when you feel really upset?

my cats, the rain, the night sky, animal crossing, etc. lately i've been very comforted by aesthetics like cottagecore and gardencore, it's very calming to look at pictures of it n' such
 
I draw my ocs haha. Works 80% of the time. Sometimes I get frustrated with my art though so that doesn't help
 
Sleeping, AC, Bath with Eucalyptus salts, meditating, listening to music and cleaning, going out for a walk around town.
 
Cuddling with my cat or dog, taking a nap, going for a long walk, talking to friends. Really it depends on what I'm upset about.
 
If I feel terribly upset and tea or a shower/bath doesn’t fix it and if I hurt too much to sleep, I write a letter to the person who upset me. I pour all my feelings out onto the paper (or typed) and when I’m finished I shred the letter or delete the paper I’ve written. It honestly helps so much because I can “tell” this person everything and then toss it away. I feel better afterward and sometimes it gives me talking points if I ever actually want to confront the person to remedy the situation.
 
I find rhythm games, especially Deemo, to be an easy way to relax. In order to do well, you have to put all of your attention on the song you’re playing. As a result any distressing thoughts I might have end up being put in the back of my mind. By the time I’m done playing I’m usually calmer.
 
Kindness comforts me when I'm upset and have a bad day. Whether it's me doing a good deed for someone else, or someone being kind to me (simply saying hello or thank you really helps), or just witnessing a kind act between two other people. It just really brightens my day.
 
Talking to my husband, watching funny shows like The Office (US version), going for a walk sometimes helps. Watching some Bob Ross is also really helpful
 
For me it would be music and background ambiance videos. For video games... it depends. A lot of the ones I play invoke more stress than relieve it.
 
Physical activity, usually taking a walk in the park with my dog or baking something. I find it really hard to sleep or relax when I'm upset so AC, music, and tea/coffee don't help much. Talking to family members sometimes helps too.
 
Talking to somebody (unless it’s the person that upset me), playing video games, a nice warm bathe, ice cream, or taking a long walk. I swear I could walk for days when I’m upset without even thinking about it!
 
I listen to music and look at/think about/write about my characters. That's why I love getting art of them, it delivers free serotonin. Some are more comforting than others.
 
Binge watching old shows and dramas. Also taking my dog for a walk. She looks so happy on her walks and her nose has a mind of its own so she’s always pulling me around excitedly (she’s a beagle) I know that doesn’t sound like a pleasant walk but it does get my mind off whatever it is I’m worried about lol.
