What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

lately:

- raymond has moved in!!
- built an incline near my island entrance
- moved the tailors shop
- changed up the cliffs near where the museum is. placed some vines, leaf + stone qr codes nearby
- gave a wrapped fossil to punchy
- visited katrina and asked her to bless shino and i's friendship
- gave wrapped fruit to shino, katt and rudy
- bought a painting from Redd on Harv's island
- bought the framed fossil + sea creatures poster from Blathers and hit them up on the walls of my house

  • Got a new Pirate Outfit from Gullivarrr, so at least that's something.
  • Got a ton of bells yesterday, so I customized a Fancy Violin today.
    • Also customized a Deluxe Washer, Diner Dining Table, Diner Neon Sign, and Effects Rack.
  • Able Sisters had a new Box-Pleated Skirt. Went from 91% Bottoms to 92% Bottoms.
  • Knox is moving in soon. Which is great, his birthday is on the 23rd and I can celebrate it!
  • Got a new color of Corduroy Pants and Full-Body Tights from HHP Island.
 
November 19, 2023
  • I have crafted the Senmaizuke Barrel and Stacked Senmaizuke Barrel. With this, I have now crafted every DIY. Next step: The cooking.
  • The Scenic Painting I got yesterday was legitimate! One more thing to cross off!! I've also got all the fakes now.
  • HHP Island had a Potato Curry DIY! That's new! I then cooked it.
  • Customized an Elegant Chair, Floor Lamp, Floor Sign, Glass Showcase, Kids' Tent, Shaded Floor Lamp, and Train Set.
    • Housewares and Total Furniture cataloged went from 88% each to 89% each.
  • Able Sisters had the Frog Costume today.
  • I'm so excited, the cataloging journey is rapidly coming to a point where all I need to do is get models, holiday crap, Nook Miles stuff, and Hello Kitty crap.

- gave wrapped fossils to punchy and shino

- completed the cast master nook miles achievement!! used a lot of fish bait
- sold a lot of orange hybrids and yellow flowers by my house
 
- Designed one vacation home
- Gave Moe a wrapped fossil
- Sold 100 turnips for 100 bells each (bought at 90 bells each)
- Purchased miso ramen from the Nooklings
- Bought pretty purple shoes from Kicks that I don't happen to remember the name of.
 
- Used 30 NMT unsuccessfully (was trying to find a few villagers)
- Worked on an exterior vantage point garden build
- Got some fossils assessed and donated
- Started terraforming the right-side of my island
- Planted more bushes, flowers, and trees
- Sold some excess stuff

  • Got a new Fairy-Tale Dress from HHP Island!
  • I think I got a legitimate Jolly Painting!!
  • Kicks had a new color of Slip-On School Shoes and Sheer Socks.
  • Saharah had new stuff: Graveyard Wall, Moroccan Art-Tile Flooring, and Oasis Flooring.
  • Customized at Cyrus, a Low Folding Table, a Medicine Chest, a Medieval Building Side, a Meeting-Room Table, and a Merchandise Table.
  • Got the following recipes DIYs: Apple Pie, Baked Potatoes, Bamboo-Shoot Soup, Bread, Bread Gratin, Brown-Sugar Pound Cake, Cake Salé, Coconut Oil, Fruit Cupcakes, Fruit Pizza, Gnocchi di Carote, Kabu Anake, Mushroom Curry, Orange Jelly, Peach Jelly, Peach Smoothie, Pear Jelly, Plain Cupcakes, Potato Potage, Pretzels, Pull-Apart Bread, Pumpkin Pie, Salad, Salade de Carottes Râpées, Seafood Ajillo, Snack Bread, Spaghetti Marinara, Spooky Cookies, Veggie Cookies, Veggie Quiche, and Veggie Sandwich.
    • Cooked each of them.
    • This ended up getting Miscellaneous from 86% to 87%.
  • Wisp visited today. Got a Nordic Low Table from Wisp. Customized it.
 
Another quick play today:

  • Had a gameplay filled with shopping
  • checked out the new clothes for the day
  • visited Nooks Cranny
  • Went to Harvey's island looking at the little markets

  • The Jolly Painting from yesterday was in fact, legitimate. Artwork collected went from 87% to 88%.
  • Able Sisters had the Gym Tee and the Young-Royal Shirt.
  • Went to Cyrus and customized the Electric Bass, Electric Guitar, Mini Fridge, Modern Office Chair, and Monstera.
  • Housewares went from 89% to and Total Furniture went from 89% to to 90% each. Finally.
  • I GOT A BOAT TOUR THAT HAD SQUID. I COOKED SEAFOD AJILLO FINALLY.

  • Cooked a bunch of stuff today, just to get the badge amount up.
  • Able Sisters had Striped Pants today. Bottoms went from 92% to 93%, and Total went from 86% to 87%.
  • Went to Cyrus and customized Nordic Shelves, Office Desk, Pinball Machine, Plant Partition, and a Plastic Clothing Organizer.
    • Housewares and Total both stayed at 90%.
 
November 23, 2023
  • Well, it's Thanksgiving. For Franklin!
    • First meal was Clam Chowder. Got a Turkey Day rug.
    • Second dish was Pumpkin Pie. Got a Turkey Day wall.
    • Third dish was a Gratin. Got a Turkey Day flooring.
    • Fourth dish was a Meunière. Got a Cornucopia.
    • Got my Clam Chowder, Pumpkin Pie, Gratin, and an Olive-Flounder Meunière DIY recipes! THAT'S THE LAST OF MY COOKING DIYS.
      • Cooking all of these moved my Miscellaneous from 87% to 88%.
  • Able Sisters had no new clothes, which is fine. I need to save money for other stuff.
  • Gave Knox a Floor Lamp for his birthday.
  • Did all my fruit harvesting today. Great day.
  • Got a ton of money, decided to customize extra stuff. Went to Cyrus, customized a Punching Bag, Rattan Vanity, RC Helicopter, Retro Stereo, Robot Arm, Gazebo, Lighthouse, Playground Gym, Streetlamp, Wind Turbine, Cotton-Candy Stall, Plaza Balloon Wagon, Festivale Stall, Festivale Flag, Festivale Garland, and a Wooden Stool.
    • I will have everything unlocked at Harv's Island's photoshoot, dammit.
    • Anyways, all this hard work got Housewares from 90% to 92%. And Total from 90% to 91%.

Maybe you already did this in a previous year, but did you give Franklin the secret ingredients so that you could get more items and DIYs?

  • Got a pink pair of Striped Shorts and a pink Fast-Food Cap.
  • Customized a Tatami Bed, Upright Organizer, Wood Partition, Zen Low Table, and Zen Lowboard.
  • Used Nook Miles to get those items to customize.
 
I spent an absurd amount of time shooting down presents today while finally putting running paths on my island! I didn't quite finish the running paths because I wanted to leave breaking a rock for tomorrow, but I managed to get 1 new Tree's Bounty recipe, 3 new Maple Leaf recipes, and 1 new Mushroom recipe! I also got the last presents Achievement and the recipe for a golden slingshot. I doubt I'll be able to keep spending this much time in order to get the other seasonal recipes (Why does Fall have THREE SETS OF SEASONAL RECIPES?!), but at least there are fewer recipes that I'll have to try to get through this forum after fall is over.

  • Another quick day.
  • Able Sisters had the Wig with Ribbon, which is AWESOME. Something new!
    • Headwear went from 83% to 84%.
  • Went to Cyrus and customized an Azumaya Gazebo, Construction Sign, Crosswalk Signal, Curved Streetlight, Drink Machine, Rope Partition, Round Space Heater, Sand Castle, School Chair, and School Desk.
    • This got Housewares from 92% to 93% and Total from 91% to 92%.
 
I want to start decorating my island for xmas and have so many lights.

So this morning I did the following:
  • Cleaned the front entrance of my island
  • Pulled up all the weeds
  • Watered my front gardens
  • Picked up items from my beaches and sold them
  • Sold items around my island for bells haha
 
Yes! Thankfully, I managed to shoot down enough presents to get all of the Maple Leaves and Acorns/Pine Cones DIYs! I still have 4 more Mushroom DIYs left, but I still have a few more days left in November to try for them.
