What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

I entered all of my clothes into The Ultimate Catalogue website. I had resisted using it for a while because I was afraid it would make my OCD worse, but I realized that I was driving myself crazy going back and forth from the Nook Shopping app to see what I already had. This should make it a lot easier to shop at the Abel Sisters, at least now that I've figured out how to export the info instead of it being cleared out when I close my browser. Now I just have to enter all of the rest of my catalogue items...

On a side note, does anyone know how to hide items on The Ultimate Catalogue? I don't plan to get the Paradise Planning expansion, and I'd like to hide those items.

As for what I actually accomplished on my own island, the Kappa tour gave me a summer island! That let me get the tiger prawn I needed for a recipe.

I also managed to get an Oarfish! Now I only need the Stringfish and the Loach to complete my Fish list.

• Got some new Soccer Shorts from the HHP Island.
• It was a fruit harvest day!
  • Started with 1,773 for crafted furniture. Crafted 50 Coconut Juice.
• Got my Cinnamoroll Puffy Blouse, Jacket, Hat, Tray, and Table.

• Wisp is in town today.
• Got my Cinnamoroll Flooring, Wall, Rug, and Sneakers.
  • Ordered the next stuff, on to My Melody.
• I DID IT I FINISHED "WISPY ISLAND SECRETS" BY HELPING WISP FOR THE 20TH TIME.
• Decided this would be another day to chop all the trees in town to get a ton of wood for crafting furniture.
  • Got 210 Wood, 214 Hardwood, and 173 Softwood.
  • Started at 1,823 furniture crafted, and 431 tools crafted.
  • Made 7 Birdhouses, then changed tune and figured crafting tools here would be better because I've been progressing that with coconuts. Made 9 Shovels, 27 Flimsy Watering Cans, 33 Flimsy Shovels, and because regular wood isn't used in tools without doing multiple steps, I made 49 Wooden Stools.
    • Now at 1,879 furniture crafted and 500 tools crafted.

• IT'S WINTER. My town looks so much darker!
• The mail had the My Melody Table, Dresser, Clock, Chair, and Bed.
  • Ordered the next round of Sanrio cataloging items.
  • Wall-mounted actually went from 98% to 99%.
• The Able Sisters had new items: Fairy Dress and Nordic Socks.
  • Socks increased from 78% to 79%.
• HHP Apparel Shop had the missing color of Sheep Hood I needed.
• Kicks this week had a new color of Color-Blocked Socks that I needed.
• Wisp was on the island again. Okay.
• Trying to force a Dung Beetle to spawn has been annoying. But I got it! Which means that's the last bug! Bug museum complete. All that's left is Sea Creatures and Art.
• The damn Snowboy wasn't proportioned right.
• If I'm really lucky, I'll be able to pay off my loan tomorrow, upgrade storage, and order a bunch of items from Liz! again. And if not, I'll chip into my damn savings.

It was yesterday so hopefully it still counts... but I spent hours editing all of my paths to be one pixel (well one dot on the custom designs app) closer to the grass, as I realised when snow settles there was too big a gap between paving stone and start of grass - also a TIL haha. Two full sets including both curved and squared corners, and inner corners, plus two partial sets with only the pieces I needed - but I feel satisfied now so can move on to designing Marina's house today (finally got her as my main long-term dreamie a couple of days ago, yay!)

  • Total clothes went from 88% to 89%.
• HHP Apparel Shop had a new DJ KK Logo Tee.
• Saharah had an Ocean-Horizon Wall and a Steampunk Flooring.
  • Floors went from 86% to 87%.
• Got the My Melody Wall, Hood, Boots, Dress, and Shirt.
• Golden Net recipe and Bug Poster came in the mail today!
• Got Hoard Reward level 4.
• Started with 1,880 DIY Furniture. Made 50 Coconut Juices.
• Paid off home loan and spent the money to upgrade my storage again.

• ESO: I finally finished Veteran Vateshran's Hollows!
• Labelle was in town.
• Nothing new at Able Sisters today. Which is fine, I'm on limited time. Same for the HHP Apparel Shop.
• Got my My Melody Rug and Flooring, for a Kerokerokeroppi Bridge, Doll, and Hallway.
  • Ordered the next Sanrio items.
• Ordered an ABD and Storage Shed. Will customize tomorrow.
• Actually managed to get a Snowboy properly built. Only 18 more to go!

I hate Snowboys. They could be a lot of fun if the definition of perfect wasn't so narrow. I read somewhere that one way of making perfect Snowboys is to make both snowballs as large as possible and then roll the second snowball down a path for 10 spaces to get it down to the right size. I'll probably try that next.

I just tried this, and I got a message that I was "So Close", but it still wasn't perfect. Maybe because I tried to do a one-space-wide path? I'll probably try doing a two-space-wide path next time and see if that works.

I DID IT!!! I MADE A PERFECT SNOWBOY!

I thought for sure that it would be another failure because I didn't have any idea of how many spaces of path I had rolled the second snowball over, but apparently it was just the right number! Also, two-space-wide paths seem to work better than one-space-wide paths, according to the statistics of one attempt per each type of path. Now I just have to make 18 more...

I just recruited Lionel to my island. I was trying to get either a Peppy or Sisterly villager because I'm missing those personality types, but multiple Nook's Tickets got me 2 Snooties, 2-3 Jocks, 3-4 Crankies, 4-5 Normals, and 2 Smugs. I really need to go to bed so I went with Lionel because I'm hoping to kick out Rodney eventually so I'll need another Smug. I wish I had room for Nan or Whitney, but I've already got 2 Normals and 2 Snooties on my island.

With the deletion of Pookytopia, its residents have scattered to different islands again and it's up to me to wrangle them up again before the holidays.
Rules: Only the cats on my list can come to my new island, and they must arrive in a specific order. I must find them myself, either on Nook islands or my campsite.
Must get all 10 villagers by Christmas Day. Starters cannot be voided (originally applied to all villagers I had to boot out, but amended it later to only starters due to the fickle nature of villager adoption.)
