the barreleye continues to hide from me.........so much horse mackerel....
but i DO nearly have all the fish for february now!
i think i still need the pop-eyed goldfish, coelacanth, and of course.........the barreleye aughghug.

- Bottoms started off at 94%. Tops started off at 92%. Bought the Terry-Cloth Shorts from Able Sisters. Bottoms went up to 95%!

I DID IT!!! I GOT THE FINAL PERFECT SNOWBOY ACHIEVEMENT, AND NOW I NEVER HAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER SNOWBOY AGAIN!!!
I credit this article for explaining a method of consistently making a perfect Snowboy that actually worked for me. The 12-second & 17-second rule clicked in a way no other method I tried did.

- NOOK'S SHIP HAD THE WARM PAINTING WHICH IS 100% ALWAYS LEGITIMATE I'M SO HAPPY.
- Nothing new at the Able Sisters or the Nook store.

- Built a proper snowman using the 12-second and 17-second rules that @Mountain_Elements linked above. It's now my third perfect Snowman of all time.
- Donated my Warm Painting!
Today butch visited my campsite, I was unsure about him at first because I don’t tend to be too fond of the deep voice characters but his original little jumper was hella cute and dog villagers are adorable. I replaced bangle with him due to bangle being one of the first few villagers on my island hence her having an unoriginal house. I don’t tend to mind it but I do prefer having the houses they intend to come with for a bit of originality between villagers.
Managed to make a further start on terraforming. Started a farm even though I’ve only unlocked potatoes and sugarcane as leif just chooses to avoid my island
Moved Zucker’s home closer to mine due to my blatant favouritism of him and wanted to see him more since he’s currently situated half way across the island.
Definitely need to start doing my daily chores in a little as I’ve heavily neglected them since I unlocked terraforming. Having a new island definitely has its pros but since restarting I have missed having things look pretty.
Think it’s time to hunt for sea pigs for money as these bridges and inclines are hella expensive when I’m consistently spending 200k+ everyday
Animal crossing seems to take over my life when I revisit the game for sure

Guys I had forgotten how HARD it is to move in regular campers. Cole came in and I spent a good two and a half hours trying to get him to say yes to moving to my island. I lost everytime with the cardgame, it was absolutely infuriating. He was only doing the color cards and the pick the shape (idk how to say it in English) and I kept losing!!! and then it took me like five attempts for him to mention someone I actually wanted out of the island? I can't believe that dumb card game is so hard to win. I'm not sure if I'm just unlucky but... I never want to do that again ever.
Not necessarily today, but this past week I've fleshed out a few more empty spaces I had on my island! I was mostly doing minor terraforming and decorating around my Nook's Cranny and the paths leading to this area. ^^ I have a pretty big space that I want to create as sort of a town square or something, and it's been empty for over half a year lol. I'm still stumped on the majority of it, but I did make some progress with the minor decorating and it already feels and looks better to see less empty space haha. I've also made some mental notes for some villagers to potentially kick out, as I'm feeling sort of a disconnect with two of my current villagers (rip Whitney and Raymond). So nothing too big but it feels like good progress to me.

- Got the Festivale Parasol and customized it.
- Got the Dotted Shower Cap from Able Sisters today. Kicks had a new Logo Tote Bag color and a new color of Garter Socks which made Socks go from 91% to 92%. Saharah had a Straw Wall, Flowing-River Flooring.

A lot has happened today! Some of it was outside my island but I hope it still counts.
First, I finished my first vacation home for a special character, who in this case was Wisp.
Wisp seems to be the reclusive type, so I designed a small shed thingy for him. You could barely see the details because I used the surveillance camera filter and the room was dark. Let me know if you want a clearer photo.
Right after that...
I think this screenshot perfectly sums it up. I've got a long way to go until I become the GOAT!
Also, I bought the following:

I caught SO MANY FEATHERS and gave them to Pave to finally get the Festivale Float. It feels kind of mean for the game to have this occurring on a weekday.

- Got the Gothic Headdress today. Headwear went from 89% to 90%.

-Isabelle announced that Flick is visiting which is perfect because I want some more models, I tracked him down and gave him 3 horned Hercules from my storage
-Checked the mail outside my house and got two gifts from my villagers, a cute floor lamp and a rattan lamp
-Talked to all my villagers
-Punchy was at home cooking and taught me a new recipe for fruit scones!
-Gave Dora some wrapped fruits and she gave me a maid dress in return
-Found the glowing spot on my island and planted a money tree
-Checked out the shops, I bought some boots from Able's
-Went to Harv's island to see what Redd and Kick's had there
-Managed to create a perfect Snowboy today!
-Completed a lot of Nook Miles tasks
-Coffee at the Roost

First time playing again in 6 months or so. Feels lovely to be back; just was hard to get me time to play with toddler life.
Today I:
- weeded both towns
- checked shops
- got re-acquainted with my villagers which means yelled at for being gone lol
- tried to make mental notes where to pick back up on (first town is mainly done but needs outdoor attention/landscaping, second town needs both indoor/outdoor progress)
Little steps though.
