What Did You Accomplish On Your Island Today?

November 18

-Henry is unpacking! I went to say hello to him
-Talked to my villagers
-Pecan asked me for help to locate her missing bag. I found it by the museum and she gave me a business suitcoat for my help.
-Checked out the shops, I bought some checkered sweater vests from Ables
-Gathered some maple leaves and crafted a few red leaf piles
-Planted a few more bamboo trees since my bamboo area was looking sparse
-Celeste was visiting so I got a large star fragment from her

Thanks to that one thread I made, I finally cleaned out my mailbox that had 250+ mails sitting there.

On Crescent :

Gave gifts to my villagers
I received my first villager photo from Fuchsia
Most of my time was spent on trying to make patterns. I have a few more ideas to try and work on.
Donated some fossils to the museum
Checked my mail
Ordered some simple panels

On the fabulous, newly flattened island of Sundrop, I made a river and put in a bridge.

You might think this was a fairly simple task, just another basic bridge. Well, you'd be wrong.
Étoile just happened to walk over and start fishing exactly where i needed to reshape the river. We talked, a lot, and i went in and out of buildings, trying to see if Étoile was out of the way.

I even went to Harv's to get some castle pieces customized. Nope. Still fishing. I tried to fill in the river all around, and then chat, but apparently you can fish in a single square of water. For a long time.

Decided to come back in the evening, which is when Norma decided to sit exactly where I was trying to dig the river.

Finally got the river done later, got the bridge kit and whaddya mean there's no river here for a bridge?! It's perfect! Could not figure out why i couldn't put the bridge up for a frustratingly long while, until finally i realized omg im not standing close enough to the water.

But I did it! Finally!
Paid it off, so should be complete tomorrow.

In the process of really simplifying the island. But it's not simple.

Today on Crescent;

Ordered more simple panels .
Worked on a few pattern ideas
Gave gifts to my villagers
Had some things recolored by Cyrus
Got my fortune told and my friendship level with Bangle. Katrina said our friendship is as high as it can go.
Moved Samson’s house off of the beach .
Placed a new incline . This will make it easier to get to the shops .
Thinking of ideas on how to decorate the shops area.

November 23

-Emptied my mailbox
-Checked on the trees I planted. I forgot that 8 wanted to keep some of them small so I had to chop and replant a few. I like how my bamboo area is improving though
-Talked to my villagers
-A couple of my villagers were in the museum bug area so I took cute photos of them
-Cookie taught me a new recipe: gnocchi di carote!
-Checked out the shops, bought a school locker from Nooks
-Cleaned out a few duplicate items from my storage
-Found the glowing spot and planted a money tree

Celebrated Shep’s Birthday ,
Made the cafe on HHP
Remade Willow’s vacation home since she wanted a roommate.
Donated enough to get Leif tomorrow on Harv’s island
Paid off my incline
Had my friendship with Peewee checked and Katrina performed a blessing
Invited Friga to the campsite for the second time and made her an ironwood dresser.

Over the last 3-4 weeks I played almost everyday, slowly making changes around the island. I've terraformed and decorated two flat areas from scratch and I'm very happy with the outcome. Few other places had a slight redesign too, but it was mainly just replacing one or two objects.

I'm enjoying this slow pace of play. I don't feel pressured to decorate, decorate, decorate! (like before Halloween when I wanted to share my DA) and decoration ideas just come to me randomly. I feel like I'm hooked on playing New Horizons again

Today on Crescent:

Welcomed our new neighbor Friga and sent her a welcome letter.
Harvested and watered my veggies
Cleaned the island of weeds
Removed all flowers that were not blue , purple or white hopefully will have better luck with hybrids.
Gave gifts to my villagers
Between yesterday and today received two photos from Bangle and Spork.
Had some fossils assessed and finished the Deinonychus fossil
Invited Chabwick to the campsite

I last played about a week ago because my Switch suddenly won't charge. I used the last of my time on the island (until whenever the problem gets fixed) making sure I talked to everyone (but I couldn't locate Pietro ;w; ), doing island cleanup, helping Labelle and putting up some early Christmas decor. I've now missed out on Wolfgang's birthday, my last chance to collect maple leaves and catch certain fish AND what was supposed to be my first-ever New Horizons Thanksgiving, and I hope I don't miss too much of December...

Invited Chabwick for the third time and he will be moving in soon
Made a vacation home for Franklin
Celebrated building 20 vacation homes
Started gathering materials for when I decorate for Christmas
Went to a mystery island and Kapp’n island looking for iron nuggets and wood.
Gave gifts to my villagers

Today I decorated the area outside my house a bit. And Kiki is moving out so island hopping soon!

I'm back into ACNH again !! yay!
Today I went nook miles hunting for my japanese-suburb themed town and I found Raymond on my 7th try! I never thought I would like him but over the past year he kinda grew on me. I wish he wasn't so "overrated" and hated by many for that exact reason because he's actually just a little guy.

I finally caught an ocean sunfish and some other critters too!

I received the DAL cap today! I didn't do much today, I cleaned up my storage a little and Label was the daily visitor. At night Wisp visited and gave me a new item, a Dress-up doll (at least it helps to fill the catalogue).

December 4

-Talked to my villagers
-Pecan was sick so I brought her some medicine
-Cookie taught me a new DIY recipe to make a foxtail
-Moved some more trees around again
-Cleaned up a bunch of leaf piles that I had put out for fall
-Crafted some wreaths that I had been collecting flowers for
-Collected my fully grown money tree
-Completed some Nook Miles tasks

Fang gave me his photo when he came over to visit, Rosie got sick so I brought her some medicine and she gifted me a Baseball cap, Sahara was in town today and I caught a blue marlin and a gar.

Daisy moved in. I've never had her on any of my islands before! She's really cute and I like her colors a lot

Today I did a little time travelling for a change because I wanted to try to unlock some of the frozen set recipes to do some decorating. My island is pretty full and I’m so bad at making snowboys (even when using “tricks”) that this is no easy feat! I managed to make 4 perfect snowboys and unlocked the frozen partition, frozen pillar, ice wall and frozen treat set. Still got a lot to go unfortunately

While working on the above I also managed to find a new cooking recipe in a bottle for pull apart bread.

Today on Serenity:
I have been spending more time on Crescent so I finally put away the rest of the Halloween and fall decorations and started to decorate for Christmas.
Moved some items to Crescent to help decorate over there.

On Crescent:
Have been moving in new villagers
Gwen is now unpacking and Roald will be here Saturday. Will be working on moving in Puck next.
Have gotten almost all my original villagers photos just need Peewee and Tasha’s
Made a few new patterns and started to work on Roald’s ice rink.
Gave gifts to my villagers
