What did you discovered these days ?

I guess we are never done completely discovering a game, just a few weeks ago I realize that the smoke that comes out of the villagers' chimney is not always the same. Sometimes it is just circles, but I have seen some fish forms, it was really funny.

Also, I noticed that the forms on the ground are not the same in summer/winter. I had no idea!
(so I tried all of them, if anyone is interested it goes like that :
- triangle (grass) / square (snow)
- circle (grass) / star (snow)
- square (grass) / circle (snow) )


What did you discovered super late?

I also didn't realize there are different grass and snow patterns until months into the game. LOL. The small grassy areas on Main Street is always triangle, no matter what the pattern is in your town. And the grass pattern on the island may or may not be the same as in your town.

I didn't know, again - until months later, that there are different train station and town hall colors. I played alone for almost a year, so I couldn't compare other towns to my own. I watched a few YouTube videos, but I never picked up on it.

I only just recently discovered that when writing letters you can change the opening and closing lines. I always had it say Dear X, From X because I didn't know you could change it--I was like, how come villagers can write different things there and I can't!? But then I clicked on it and was so surprised

I didn't know you could plant money trees or customize your takeout coffee till waaay late in the game

I don't know if it's all the time or what, but I sent a kiddie couch to Stitches, and he put it up.
Later that day he invited me over, and every time I sat on the couch, it sounded like a whoopee cushion. So, that was funny and adorable. Though, the next time it didn't do the same. So, Idk.

I only recently found out that the train station comes in different colours. Found out when I was resetting for a good map.

Also didn't realize you could put filters on your ID Photo without hacking. You press "L" for one filter, and "R" for the other. One is a Sepia filter, the other a B&W one, don't know which is which...

You can customize takeout coffee??? I knew you'd eventually be able to request different coffee when you sit down, but takeout too? Yes!

I just recently found out that there are different numbers of ponds in your town, and that re-tail always has a pond off to the side of it! I only have one pond in my town and I thought it was so cool when other people had more!
I also found out that the train station has different colored roofs. I had no idea so many things were randomly customized when you started a new town.
