What do you guys normally bring for lunch? If you don't bring a lunch, what do you normally buy to eat? Are you happy with your lunch or would you like to change it up?
I normally get an Einstein's bros bagel with drip coffee for my breakfast (4 days of the week, cause I have no classes Friday at college/university). For lunch, I used to get Panera 5 times a week, but I cut that down to 3 days a week cause it comes out of my OWN allowance >_< I don't really eat lunch at college, 'cause it's a commuters 4 year university, and because my classes end around 3:30 pm and the bagel I had that morning is enough calories to keep me sustained.
I usually bring either a sandwich or salad or pasta, a granola bar, & some vegetables (either cucumbers, carrots, or bell peppers usually) for lunch. I like to keep lunch simple because I only have half an hour break for lunch & I like to use that half hour to stretch/walk around, use the restroom, fix my hair, etc. as well as eat because I have a pretty busy day & don't really have time for those things other than during lunch lol.
My school lunch sucks, so everyday i bring a poptart from home (because the vending machines are too expensive) It doesn't fill me up but i just wait until i come home to actually eat, i know it's not healthy but that's just my laziness :/
I usually just buy salad ingredients and make a huge salad. I have a massive bowl of porridge for breakfast too - this week it's porridge with almond milk, figs, dates and cacao nibs. Lunch is salad leaves (spinach, rocket etc), bell peppers, cucumber, tomatoes, 1/2 avocado, mackerel, pine nuts and balsamic vinegar. So delicious!
we get free school lunch here and it is different every day. i eat cereal or m?sli kind of often because they always have cereal, it's in a different place than the other food so you avoid the long queues and bc i often dont feel like eating at all and it is easier to force myself to eat cereal with milk than to eat proper lunch food.
I'm 22 and get my mum to make my lunch for work because I'm lazy ^-^
It's normally just a bun with chicken and salad stuff I eat, along with a cookie or some other chocolate thingy.
I'd like to buy my lunch at nice food places but I'm too lazy to go out and get anything, plus it'd mean I'd have to work later because I'd be away from my desk
When I was in high school I usually wasn't very hungry by lunch as long as I ate breakfast so I'd bring some kind of small snack then eat when I got home. When I work if I'm coming back for a second shift most days I'll get something from the restaurant I work at, it's healthy food and I get it half off so it works out well
For school I usually buy my lunch in a cafeteria at the hospital next to my college (I'm studying medicine so the campus is next to a hospital). I usually go to the salad bar and make myself a nice salad, I always enjoy it.
For work though, I always pack lunch and it's whatever I made the night before that are left overs lol.
I usually make a bento if I am going to be working way past lunch time, otherwise I usually get shrimp in lobster sauce and steamed dumplings from the restaurant near my house. It's relatively cheap and super filling while still keeping me on my diet.
Usually nothing. Nothing is open when I work for me to be able to buy anything either. On occasion I'll bring little snacks like these fruit yogurt gummy things that are bomb, but I'll only really eat them if I find myself running on fumes and need a kick of sugar.
Back when I used to work at my previous restaurant job, I would often just buy a white bun from Tim Horton's, maybe even a chili. If I brought something from home, it would be fruits and just snacks. That would be my breakfast and snack while I'm working. On my break, I just bought food from work and ate there. Now, at my new job, I'm too insecure to eat and anyway my shifts are short enough that I don't really need to. I don't eat until I get off work.
