For me to finally find a girlfriend that loves me as much as I love her. I?ve never been in a true relationship, and I?m almost 26 years old.
Wow, I'm almost 19 (my birthday is on February 2) and I've faced criticism from my family as well as IRL friends that me not being in a true relationship at my age is a bad thing (of course, my mom would also say that anyone who has an attraction to the same sex should not try to be in a relationship or anything like that until they're 21, which was quite discouraging to hear as when I was 11-12, it started becoming clear that I was bisexual, and it wasn't until I was 15, just a few weeks away from turning 16, that I accepted myself for it).
Anyways, there are various things that I'd like to be different in my life in 2019, but first and foremost has been greatly reducing the amount of soda, or really sugary drinks in general, that I drink. I don't have a weight problem or anything (I did for a time in my childhood from 2009 until around 2012 or 2013, but obviously it's been several years since that now), but we're all well aware that sodas just aren't good for us and I'm pretty sure that they're the reason my teeth have been yellow at points (luckily, while they aren't pearly white, I've just recently been improving my dental habits by trying to brush better as well as floss and use mouthwash to make my teeth whiter, so they aren't yellow anymore). I've had to deal with various dental issues for several years now, mainly stemming from when I had braces (which was from 2011 to 2013) as I could never figure out how to brush my teeth properly with them. As a result, just shortly before I had them taken off in August 2013, I had started having gingivitis, and while obviously it didn't take long for the braces to be removed from my teeth, I had to spend hours at the orthodontist's office on that day just to get stains that had built up around the braces removed. Unfortunately, even after I got my braces removed in 2013, my dental habits still remained poor and my gums were starting to recede, and the recession had become clear by the summer of 2015. Since then, as my habits have gradually improved, my oral health has gotten better, but I've still had areas in my mouth where I have sensitive gums... I just hope that this can eventually be eliminated in my life in 2019.
Aside from that, there isn't much else that I can say is a goal, although I should improve my study habits now that I'm a freshman in college.
