What do you want to be different in 2019?

I'd like my health to improve so I can work more hours per week, and I'd also like to get back into weight lifting for my health, happiness and self-confidence!

this year was really bad, i lost two loved ones which left a major impact. id like to think that wont have to happen next year. id like my mental health to be overall fairly stable, which, does seem to be better as of recently, likely because my living situation has gotten somewhat better.

I want my mental health and lack of motivation to stop having such a big impact on my work and my academics. I want to be more positive, and improve my self esteem. A lot of that has improved a bit over the past year and I'm in a somewhat better place, but I know I can do better in myself.

I want to be worry less and proud of myself. I also want to be kinder.

It would nice to not randomly lose all of my motivation and self-confidence for over half the year

I am hoping for some big changes in 2019. I've been in a slump for a couple of years now.

The main thing I want is to start writing again. It was always my way of dealing with my emotions and I hoped to someday get something published. I also need to write children's stories for my youngest nephew and my new niece. I gave the older kids books that I wrote for them when they were around 2-3 years old, so I need to shake off this funk and get to writing for the younger ones before they get too old.

I also hope for some changes in my mental state. As I said above, I've really been struggling with my depression lately. I need to break free of this constant mental despair at some point. I'm used to it being sporadic, but not constant like this.

Finally, I hope for some improvement in my job and family life this year. Both have really been going downhill fast and that is probably contributing to my poor mental state. I hope something can change on either or both fronts this year.

Good luck and best wishes to all for a better 2019!

For me to finally find a girlfriend that loves me as much as I love her. I?ve never been in a true relationship, and I?m almost 26 years old.

Wow, I'm almost 19 (my birthday is on February 2) and I've faced criticism from my family as well as IRL friends that me not being in a true relationship at my age is a bad thing (of course, my mom would also say that anyone who has an attraction to the same sex should not try to be in a relationship or anything like that until they're 21, which was quite discouraging to hear as when I was 11-12, it started becoming clear that I was bisexual, and it wasn't until I was 15, just a few weeks away from turning 16, that I accepted myself for it).

Anyways, there are various things that I'd like to be different in my life in 2019, but first and foremost has been greatly reducing the amount of soda, or really sugary drinks in general, that I drink. I don't have a weight problem or anything (I did for a time in my childhood from 2009 until around 2012 or 2013, but obviously it's been several years since that now), but we're all well aware that sodas just aren't good for us and I'm pretty sure that they're the reason my teeth have been yellow at points (luckily, while they aren't pearly white, I've just recently been improving my dental habits by trying to brush better as well as floss and use mouthwash to make my teeth whiter, so they aren't yellow anymore). I've had to deal with various dental issues for several years now, mainly stemming from when I had braces (which was from 2011 to 2013) as I could never figure out how to brush my teeth properly with them. As a result, just shortly before I had them taken off in August 2013, I had started having gingivitis, and while obviously it didn't take long for the braces to be removed from my teeth, I had to spend hours at the orthodontist's office on that day just to get stains that had built up around the braces removed. Unfortunately, even after I got my braces removed in 2013, my dental habits still remained poor and my gums were starting to recede, and the recession had become clear by the summer of 2015. Since then, as my habits have gradually improved, my oral health has gotten better, but I've still had areas in my mouth where I have sensitive gums... I just hope that this can eventually be eliminated in my life in 2019.

Aside from that, there isn't much else that I can say is a goal, although I should improve my study habits now that I'm a freshman in college.

For myself: self improvement! Trying to be better me. Working on areas I need more work on.

In general: For people to be more kind to others! People to be more empathetic and considerate.

I want to be stronger and a much more confident person. I?m on the right path, so hopefully it will continue on into 2019.

Work on finding a stable source of income, as well as my bad habits, anxiety, and depression. I know it can get 10x better than what I'm feeling now if I take the first step and keep at it. Also, to improve my physical health as well; I haven't felt like my true self for years as I've been in a slump mentally, and am constantly getting sick because of it.

I wish everyone a great 2019. <3

I hope you have a great 2019 as well and that the desires you have come true my dear friend! :D

My hopes for 2019 are to finally be out in the work force as a professional after graduating college this year and that I will hopefully be a married man with the love of my life by the end of next year! ;) <3

Goals for 2019
Pass my OAT exam with 300-350 score (This is a test to enter Optometry School).
Have a healthy baby.

That's literally it, but they are two huge goals that require me to break them down into smaller milestones.
