youre right- i should have added that. i had never heard of the southern lights before until i googled aurora to see some pictures, and that made me curious as to which one people think of when they see the egg, given that a lot of members are in the southern hemisphere, including the artist, Laudine!

i only included the simpsons reference to be silly.

of course its a beautifully made egg that i'm very pleased to have, and i dont want anyone to think im suggesting otherwise!
