What flower do you use the most?

I find that I use a lot of hyacinths, I think because it's my native flower. But to me, it seems like they go so well with most of the other flowers. The only one I can think of that I might not like the hyacinths with really are the cosmos, which I'm not using right now for anything. I think that the cosmos are really more of a summer flower, or at least that's the feeling I get from them.

I try and keep up a variety by having clusters of flowers spread around. For instance, my festival area has some tulips by it. The cliff behind Vic's home has mums. My forest is overgrown with pansies (my native flower). My shopping area has red and white roses. And so on (my DA is in my signature, if you want to see).

TBH, I'm not the best at mixing flowers, but I think my method works pretty well!

My Island has a large variety of flowers, and I like to decorate with them based on their surroundings:

-I surround my home with Blue Roses and Lily of the Valley flowers, as I love their fancy look, and they look great with the Zodiac set I keep around it.
-My flag is based on the Blue Windflower, so I surround my town borders and Plaza with them.
-I find red/purple pansies and mums look great around my pond areas, and Lilies and Gold roses look good on the beach sands.
-I like decorating villager homes with matching flowers: I have Sherb's home with Blue Hyacinths and Pansies, and Lobo's home with Purple Roses and Windflowers, for example.
-I tend to adjust colors for the seasons. For winter, I added more red and white flowers in exchange of other colors.

My main bias, however, is I tend to snub yellow and orange flowers - They just aren't my thing.

I don't stick to one breed of flower as much as i stick to certain colors of flowers. With my theme I'm doing pink and orange flowers. Although the pink hyacinths aren't really vibrant enough which sucks because they're so beautiful

I'm going for kind of a monochrome goth thing on my island so I only have black and white roses and lilies, and white hyacinths(and a few gold roses just because, but I honestly find them a little tacky). I also have a few purple roses scattered about because I love the color that they are in this game(as opposed to the more pastel ones in NL). I wanted purple hyacinths at first too bc they remind me of lavender, but they aren't quite the right color for the rest of my decorations.

I love hyacinths, especially the purple hyacinths because they remind me of lavender. I also use lots of weeds as decorations. Right now I'm using many to create a "swamp" section by placing them on a beach so I can give my island a little more varied terrain.

cosmos are easily my favorite flower, but probably equally used as all the other flowers I have on my island. i've got roses, lilies, tulips, mums, pansies, and cosmos. 85% of my island has flowers that follow an orange yellow green color scheme, that was an easy decision because my whole island is following that color scheme heh.

there are only two sections that are slightly different. I have a section with orange, yellow and black flowers as well as a section with only yellow and green flowers. I'm thinking of adding white cosmos to the yellow green combo because they're the only white flower I like hehe

in terms of arrangement I really like to spread them out and only have a few clusters here and there, with weeds and bushes surrounding and filling most other spaces.

honestly, i’ve been trying to utilize every type of flower but i always find myself using tulips the most, particularly pink ones. they’re just so pretty and i love how vibrant they are. :’)

I use most of them. I personally like using white cosmos mixed with any color of hyacinth. Pink or blue look nice.

i use almost every flower but my favorite are pansies so i have a dedicated flower field for my pansies! i also really like the green mums

I use roses a lot on my island, they've always been my favourite flower in game and I love the aesthetics of them Not a fan of comoses, or pansies though, the other flowers I don't mind, like for example, I match them up to the specific areas on my island, like my Japanese garden has black lilies, my fairy garden has white and pink of most of the flowers, but roses will have a soft spot in my heart, I have too many white roses on my island though, whenever it rains I end up with loads and it drives me insane :'D
