What gifts did you receive from your villagers?

It seems like everyone received different gifts from their villagers on the first day! I love the idea that we are all getting unique experiences. Different islands, different villagers, different items. It makes me so intrigued to know what you guys are experiencing!

What presents have you received from your villagers?

I got a cap from Coach and a medicine recipe from Frita. Oh and also an umbrella recipe I think.

A Medicine recipe!? That is really cool! I assume you use weeds for that?

Pashmina's given me a leaf umbrella recipe, a medicine recipe, and a shovel (the upgraded version from the pretty-good set). Sprocket gave me 5 iron nuggets to help build the Nooklings' shop.

I wonder... did people receive medicine recipes because they spoke to a villager when stung by bees? I always bought medicine straight away. Maybe I should get stung and talk to my villagers....

Yes, I got the recipe by speaking to Pashmina (my Uchi) with a swollen eye. My jock didn't offer it.
