What if PORTER replaced the Dodos

I love the dodos, and there are so many nice ironies about them. Like the fact that dodos were flightless birds, yet they fly/run an airport (dodos can dream, right?). Or the fact that they are Orville and Wilbur, aka: the Wright Brothers, first in flight. I also think Wilbur's radio names are awesome, and honestly all of his dialogue is hilarious (bellbottom stovetop is my personal favorite). I'd be sad if they were gone.

Hmmm a sweaty Dodo vs Cute Adorable Porter honestly I think Porter would fit the role of something different rather than take people to visit other Islands. Also wouldn’t be possible by train. Not sure what he could do though.

honestly, i think i would've preferred porter. he's got a cuter design imo. i don't hate the dodos, but i don't find their designs particularly appealing or memorable and wouldn't want them to return. they could've even continued with the "next generation" thing and introduced porter's relative/descendant as the pilot. i don't know. a long time ago, back when we still thought NH would be a wii u game, there was cute concept art of porter in a pilot's uniform that i adore, and i 100% wouldn't hesitate to take it over the dodos.

omg my heart he is so freaking adorable. I love Dodo birds IRL so I was totally stoked on having the Dodos around, but I do miss Porter so much! I mean they could have at least given us Champ back.

I love the Dodos. I think they're very cute. I do think they talk too much, but I love them all the same. It has not gotten old to me that Orville says we're going to make a water landing every single time.

I also think Porter is cute, and I'd love to see him visit the island, but it would lose some continuity for me if all of a sudden Porter was a pilot.

but actually I dont think I'd want porter to return only because I have a personal dislike of monkeys. I also really like Wilbur and I would miss him if he left, even if most of my memories include me screaming at him to pls take me to the island with my dreamy on it haha...

Hmm, as much as I miss Porter, I don't really like the idea of him being in charge of an airline since he's being doing the trains for so long. I do miss his cute little face though.

The dodos are ok. I don't love them and I don't hate them. I kind of like that they bought in someone new to run the airlines.

I miss Porter! I applaud this suggestion, but i think we should keep Wilbur. Orville can get yeeted out of the island though for all i care.

Honestly I'd prefer it. I find Orville annoying and ugly. Porter was adorable and just let me do my thing without blabbing on for a century.

But honestly, the monkey theme would be adorable.

Although porter is extremely cute, I like the dodos, and the idea of a dodo airlines is a cute idea, in my opinion. I prefer having new characters added for a new game and a new function, rather than shoe-horning in old characters just for the sake of having them.

i am not opposed to porter coming back in some form, just would not trade out dodo airlines, personally.

He would also be cute as a regular villager, I like the monkeys in general, and he would fit right in.
