My username is "SoraFan23" I named it after my favorite game Kingdom Hearts and "Sora" is the main character of that game and I am a "Fan" of his character. The number "23" is the date I first got to play Kingdom Hearts the first time. I forgot what month or year it was but I remember that specific date that I started playing the game. So yeah.
Mine is “lemoncrossing” because of that trend back in 2013-2014 where all the Animal Crossing tumblr girls would make their blog names “____crossing.” I’ve gone by lemoncrossing on there for a number of years, so I decided to transfer that name over here, too.
I always have some variant of “lemon” in my usernames/aliases because yellow is my favorite color, “lemon” sounds similar to my IRL name, and I love the fresh/clean aesthetic.
For me, "skarmoury" just came out from trying to be a cool, edgy 13-year-old on tumblr with an almost-actual-pokemon-name. Idk it was a trend back then on tumblr that if your name was a real word/name you were instantly cooler than 95% of the population. I hoarded URLs back then but I was never able to snag a pokemon URL, and I just thought "skarmoury" was closest to the real thing. Anyway, it stuck with me throughout the years!
An alternate username I have is "f1owercrown", same reasoning as above with the tumblr names. It also stuck with me and I use it more often now than "skarmoury", but I can't be bothered to change my username here since I feel it's what people already know me as in this community.
It's a reference to May from Pokemon and her Skitty and the 16 is because I made this when I was 16 years old lmao. This is also my Email since I also made it at that age.
as a kid, i thought the gem moonstone and its name was beautiful so i used it for everything. the numbers 1751– it’s my sisters elementary’s school lunch pin and i just thought it sounded nice with moonstone LOL
i never really used moonstone1751 for much anymore — usually for gaming stuff i use xxkd23 but it’s not my favorite username so i went back to moonstone1751
Tindre means "twinkle" in Norwegian, when I played wow with my ex in like.. 2010 or 2011, I needed a naming convention for my characters, I went with different types of light in Norwegian, so I named them Flimre, Glimre, Flakke, Skimre,,, names like that. Tindre was my first death knight and I had a massive crush on Lich King at the time so I stuck around with that character and she became my main. And after that I started drawing an OC named Tindre based on my wow character and my Gaia avatar at the time. :3 and since then I have gone by Tindre, the only thing that sucks is that it sounds pretty masculine so everyone calls me dude (which is fine, its nice to go undercover as a dude online) and that it looks like the dating app "Tinder" which came out after I started using the name, but people usually need to get that out if their system when they meet me online for the first time. -_-
i was rlly close with someone a couple years back and we loved steven universe and when smoky quartz was revealed we couldn't get over how similar i was to them. ive gone by smoky for 3 or so years now and i cant see myself ever changing it. its also ironic bc im rlly into crystals and reiki and astrology and smoky quartz happens to be my favorite crystal.
