Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.
Worst thing I've done this year is spend the first few months of this year isolating myself from the rest of the world and generally being depressed/suicidal. to be fair, I was going through a dark phase of my life so I suppose one of the best things I've done this year is managed to get through that and survive that. :')
But the best thing I've done this year is come to university, I've made so many awesome friends and met so many lovely people and it's just a great feeling being loved and knowing I have people who will support me in life and take care of me, likewise I love having close friends who I know I will always make me smile and just... Understand me, I suppose? It's been great to have friends who also like the same stuff as me too lmao. So now I'm finally feeling just happy for the first time in a really long while, I can wake up in the morning and feel motivated and willing to go out and do stuff and talk to new people and experience new things. If you told the me of a year ago what my life is like now I doubt that she'd believe you. :')
Lost the whole of my summer in hospital again, came out and people are talking about Christmas on the way and everything. That was a pretty rubbish time.
Best thing...probably getting the house plastered and decorated, been waiting to get that done for a long time
Best thing? I went to Germany for two weeks to live with my sis and attend Gamescom, plus see the country in general. Those were some of the best weeks of my life so far. I want to go back next year and cosplay so badly, it's definitely on my bucket list.
Worst thing? Not really something I had done, but my lecturers took months to actually respond to me about my return to my course and withdrew me for no reason, even though my absence was registered as only temporary. You bet I was ****ing mad. It's really messed things up for me, waste of time and money.
Best thing was getting into Korean culture because it's actually pretty awesome...K-pop, K-dramas, films, etc
Japanese music and television is pretty terrible imo (apart from a lot of anime) so I've filled in that hole with Korean stuff instead aha
I think I've gotten slightly too obsessed but I'm enjoying it...shame the anime community is so much more chilled compared to the K-pop one; EXO-L vs ARMY fan wars are killing me rn
Like, just appreciate the music, you don't have to bring other idols and groups down ;; Still, this whole experience has been mostly great, and I've discovered a lot of new awesome things, so that's...awesome
The other two cool things I did was go to Tokyo and New York this summer! They were both so great //eyes sparkle although I would have 1000000x preferred to visit Japan with my mum ;;
Worst thing? I don't think I've done anything particularly bad
I mess up all the time but there's really nothing that stands out to me...hmm
worst thing i've done was make my best friends feel like i was trying to replace them with my new friends.
best thing i've done was being really productive with my design work and creating some great pieces for my portfolio.
..another good thing, i also managed to put together a huge box of gifts im shipping out to my friends who live in other states. i messed up a while ago and we're okay now. but still i need to continue to show them i love them.
The worst thing I did was resign from my job, although I've got a good chance of returning.
The best thing I did this year was start watching Mob Psycho 100, since it's one of the reasons why I started drawing again. I was even able to find an art style that works for me and I really like! I'm still developing it, but I have never had an art style that I liked as much as this one.
Best: Spent the summer riding a bicycle across the United States, alternating between wild camping and staying with hosts. (Shout out to Warmshowers/Couchsurfing!)
Worst: Moved into a new apartment with a good friend, that's not bad in itself at all. It's the celebratory drinking that resulted in spending all of the next day in front of a toilet. Told myself I'd quit drinking for awhile but was found with a beer in my hand a few days later. FML haha
