What is your average of NMT spent to get a Villager you like?

I haven't really used NMT to island hop and find a villager I've only really gone on the villager threads and found the villager I wanted and bought them. For a villager I really want, I'd say around 40 NMT would be my max (unless they're Raymond) then I would be willing to spend up to 100 NMT

Usually around 30 tickets, I've gotten lucky and have found my favorite villagers pretty fast

Can I say zero?

For the first three move-ins, I went to like 3 islands before I found Tucker and took him. The other 2 starter homes I let randomly move in, same with the rest of my island. Now, after having a full island, I usually don't have an open plot to try. I really only move people in from the campsite, and that's really the only way villagers move out, so there's never an empty plot.
