What is your best experience on TBT?

We all have good times, and we all have bad times, but if there's any experience you liked best on TBT, what would it be? It can be about your personal life on this site or the most entertaining times on TBT. And remember, this is not about your worst experiences. If you want to discuss them, you can make your own thread. This is about the good ol' times (which can be any time on TBT from the day you joined to the present).

If you want to know what time I enjoyed TBT the most, it would be around the months of November to December. It was early in my membership, and back then, I used to blog on Bell Tree, every day, until I got 100 entries. Also, I remembered when there were the Pizza threads, debate threads, the Pokeball raffle where we can enter by buying golden tickets, the TBT Fair, and the time I got a chocolate cake collectible. I still have mine from last December, and I'll never give it up. They were the best times I had on TBT. I wish it was like this the whole time, but it can't.

When I cycled and gave away all villagers for free and when I met some people through roleplay threads. Good few months met some nice people.. but most left the site.. :/ Rip Leela and Chrome.

To be honest, my best experience on this site is the making of SOTW. Going out and getting a poll from the community whether they wanted it or not, communicating with staff about it, making the GFX for it, the rules, and templates was an amazing experience for me. The contests are still going on today (about a year now at this point) and are still managed just by me.

I thought the TBT Fair was a ton of fun and definitely stands out in my mind when I think about awesome TBT experiences. I also used to really enjoy cycling and helping people get those dream villagers that have eluded them for ages, and I met some pretty great people via my cycling thread and through various discussion threads on TBT which is always cool. I guess it'd be a combination of the people and the events for me.

Oh, and I also had a TBT member contact me for my first-ever craft commission. That's definitely also up there as one of my best experiences.

I really loved giving away Jay away for free to someone who REALLY wanted him. It made me so happy to see them so happy.

I can't really think of specific moments. I like interacting with the community, it's always been fun.

Hosting and participating in giveaways was a lot of fun and trading villagers is always fun, as well.

I remember saying something on a thread once about things you dislike (I can't remember exactly what the subject was), and I said something about how I couldn't stand snobby people who thought they were better than everyone else, and how, throughout my time here, I've tried to make newbies feel as welcome as I possibly can, 'cause nobody has ever really welcomed me or tried to make me feel comfortable when I join new communities. I thought it sounded a little too harsh, though, so I edited it and shortened it as much as I could. ZR (a moderator who quit recently) seen it and said she agreed, but also mentioned she preferred the longer version I had on.

A member then said that they were curious as to what it was I had said originally, and the next thing I know, the longer version was restored by ZR, and I basically got a whole page worth of praise for that one little post. Perhaps it's snobby of me to say this, but I felt really accomplished. I felt like what I was trying to say was being understood and appreciated for once. I've always been too anxious to go ahead and say those things in normal circumstances, which is why I ended up editing it. It showed me that, at least sometimes, I'm wrong about myself. It was a nice feeling. That's just one of many nice experiences I've had here, though.

lol but seriously the best things that have happened so far have been meeting so many people who share a common interest w me
I.E. This wonderful girl Cou- she messaged a couple nights ago so we started talking, and we found out that both of us LOVE Edm, so we had like a 2 hour convo about music and we shared good artists w eachother
I stayed up till 3 am talkin to her

i met a couple other people whose names i cannot remember, but they also liked edm and we have had some good convos-

i just really love it when people go out of their way to talk to me and learn about my interests <3 Thanks tbt

Gaining friends very fast after joining, and those times when people give me stuff without wanting anything in return, even if it's just an act it's on the internet which usually isn't kind (I try to return the kindness if I can).
