So... I've noticed a lot of people on TBT lately seem obsessed with tracking down their dreamies. The villager board is popular, lots of villager trading, people openly TTing to try to get villagers to move faster, all of these signatures about which dreamies people are looking for and which of their villagers they want to trade/sell...

I know this isn't the case for everyone here, but dreamies is such a popular point of discussion, it sometimes makes me wonder how many people are playing the game with that goal right now and how many people are working towards some other goal.

What is your main goal in NL?

I don't have one in mind as I'm about to reset my file. I will however try to fill out my Sets Catalog and get some unorderables :3

Why are you going to reset? Don't like your map? Or did you lose a villager and don't want to go through the hassle of cycling to get them back? Just curious!

I honestly don't see the point of dreamies. I like playing the game spontaneously, and seeing where it takes me :) I guess my main focus is getting to know new villagers and making my town look pretty.

I'm just working on my town right now... it has a magical forest/village theme and there's still so much left to do...
Making a pretty town is pretty much my main goal in animal crossing...
Right now I'm time traveling to work on my dirt paths... it takes forever.

I?m doing everything, I want 100% Completion, I want a Zen Themed town, and an awesome house with themed rooms, I want all dream villager, I only need 2 now, I?m gonna get rid of Blanche for either Felicity, or Ankha, and I?m gonna get Marshal of Julian instead of Deena, I want everything Catalouged eventually, I want all medals, I want all Fossils, Fish, Bugs, and I want to have a ton of fun :D
Also I?m probably gonna get a second copy eventually, and make a Fairy Tale themed town :D

My house placement + pond-infested towns are major factors as to why I'm going to reset. My villagers are awesome and I feel bad they are all going to take a one-way trip to the void :(

I also have the "Reset-bug".

Right now, it's to make my town look as pretty as possible. I'm busy breeding certain hybrids, I collect bushes and I'm in the process of replacing some old street lights with the pretty round ones that were recently suggested. I'm also waiting for my peppy villagers to suggest the illuminated arch so I can finally finish the right side of my town, which I have fun plans for.
On the side I'm also in the process of creating two themed rooms in my house.

Pfft, so much to keep me busy! And since university started last week I barely have any time to actually do stuff in my town. At least I know it'll be a looong while before I'm burnt out on this game!

Fill the catalog, get all the badges, more hybrids, unlock PWPs and collect all the golden tools.

Right now, i just want to see orange leaves. Which is soon...

Trying to get all my dreamies so that when I put paths down they wont ruin it, and then I have to repath a lot of it all over again.

Re-planting my trees (cut them all down in order to lay my paths and figure out which spaces should be used for what), breeding hybrids, and moving out Rodney and Phoebe, mostly. I'm also trying to breed more hybrids and figure out where to put them, as well as fixing up my house as nicely as possible. Oh, and my fossils. 99% of my game is just rearranging things to make them look nice, and doing favors for villagers. :3

I can't believe you left out the museum. There are only two things I do in ACNL now: Run errands for villagers (because I want those pictures), and hunt for my museum.

I don't have any dreamies, I'm happy with all my villagers I have.
At the moment I just want to get my Gracie fashion checks done so I can do the last update of the store. I am also aiming towards making my whole house fairy tale theme, I have two more rooms to do.

I have several goals, but there's not one in particular that I'm focusing on at the moment. I'm mostly just working on a little bit of this and a little bit of that as I play along

I don't expect to get all my dreamies in my siggy, especially since I wanna keep most of my current villagers around. But, be nice to get at least 1 of them in the eventual future. No rush on that, so don't want to spend millions on one. :) My major goals are to finish my path and get a perfect town. It's a VERY slow work in progress. I want to complete my houses - my mayor's house and my 2nd character's house. I also wanna complete my museum at some point.

I don't really have any particular goals myself. I'm just letting myself go with the flow and see where the game takes me with it.

I'm trying to fill my museum, get badges, and fill up my catalog - and, of course, become RICHER THAN GOD
