What is your town theme?

my towns theme? complete mess at this point LOL! im trying to make it elegant though.

to be fair I think all our our towns are a mess and not even close to what we want them to look like 😅 I have all these grand ideas and all the items are kinda piled up in places, but every time I log on it feels too overwhelming to try and do all of it at once

Oh I really love the sound of your town theme! I'm trying for a vague haunted vibe with a bunch of my fave things thrown in

Same with my New Leaf town, I still have a sweets/dessert theme for my island :D

somewhere between cottagecore and rural. i wouldn't necessarily even say it has a theme? there's a little farm, a butterfly garden and then a bright-ish pastel playground area. i would say it just looks like a regular village/town honestly.

I can't stick with one theme and admire people who can and make their islands look cohesive and nice.

I have too many themes and nothing really tying it together. I like it for the most part, so hesitant to change things I like just to stick to one theme.

I haven't decided on an exact theme as of late. However, I am aiming for a Gothic x Cute aesthetic. Pink pastels clashing with a Gothic Hell sounds absolutely amazing, I can't wait to show it off once I have finished remodeling.

Overgrown, rural elegantcore is the best way I can put it. Ruined pillars, mossy tiles, broken-off brick paths, black tulips and white flowers everywhere. It has a loose Ancient Greece theme, with some areas dedicated to astrology and the Zodiac (which is where Julian and Ione come in), but the rest is pretty much if you were to combine elegantcore with cottagecore.

Mine is a vague glowy space theme. The layout of my island used to be really intuitive, but then I took everything off of it and rebuilt and now the layout is slightly chaotic.

Mine is the default town tune from the Gamecube Animal Crossing. It's been with me for 20 years, and I ain't giving it up.

Mine is a eco friendly island which i would to be a representative (member of parliament) of ☺️

the hunter x hunter OP :3

This is my theme too! <3

my island theme is loosely based around the cursed town where the manga uzumaki takes place, and has the same name. so it has a strong japanese influence with some haunted/spooky and abandoned areas with the overall look being overgrown mixed with traditional japan.
all of the mossy and damaged variations of items are my best friend.

i’m saying things in the present tense as if the island is complete but in reality i just restarted (again) and am starting from pretty much scratch lol. but i do have a very strong idea of what i want it to look like, just need to unlock terraforming aGAIN

Overgrown flower garden lol. I don’t really have a particular theme. I just try to make my island look nice. I have a garden next to my plaza with my crops and a fountain garden on the other side of the plaza in front of my shops. My villager houses are scattered in the back and right side of my island and my house is on the left. I still have too many flowers…

Elegant and ornate meets modern chic + luxury.
(Colors are: blues (including teal), purples, gold, & white. some black here and there)

I think "Elegant-core" just became a thing, but this was my kinda theme from the beginning.

My island is somewhat Ghibli-themed. I'm not going for 1:1 recreations landscape wise, rather I'm inspired by certain scenes and backgrounds and try to fit those impressions into structures and neighbourhoods. I mostly chose villagers that remind me of certain Ghibli characters and whose houses didn't stand out too much. Being able to design villager houses has opened a lot more possibilities for me though and I'm currently changing my villager lineup as well as moving Ghibli room designs from my character's house to villager houses.

At the moment, my theme is a Christmas woodland theme. Thought with December and Christmas coming up, it would be a cute idea. I have only really just started working on it properly though so I'm hoping I can get it finished in time for Christmas.

Natsukashi- old retired nautical town, rustic and stuck in an eternal autumn. Also surrounded by a time bubble/anomaly. Some things seem to be from the past and despite their old, worn and near broken down condition, still seem to work. Other things are from a time unknown to most of the villagers living there. No one ages, no one dies ans no one is born. Villagers are all from different periods of time, thou that part is unknown to them. Natsukashi is a place you will never be able to find by yourself unless it calls out to you. The island lures in different villagers, thou not with any malicious intent. The only person who seems to know what's goin on is the Resident Rep, and even then they can be unaware of certain things.

Willowisp- forgotten, desolate island now being renovated to be livable again... thou maybe people shouldn't live here. Maybe it was abandoned for a reason. There are dark forest everywhere with shadows that most light can't destroy. An old deity grows bored with the lack of human attention, so they go into town with a disguise and cause trouble for the residents. The resident rep gives off weird vibes but so do most of the villagers. There's a burned down mansion of what was rumored to be the first resident, but other structures deep in the forest suggest there was much older life before who ever used to live in the mansion.

There is evidence of a mass eviction of the older life that once lived there, as all of their belongings and homes are still there. But there are no signs of struggle, famine, disease, war, or natural disaster. It's unclear why this old life left so suddenly without an outside force making them leave.

I guess I have 2. The main vibe is country - I've got livestock, farms, duck ponds, lots of trees, tons of flowers, and one side of my beach is devoted to different wildlife. I also have pockets of fairytale/mythology based places spread throughout.
