I chose to make my town tune in New Horizons the default Wild World town tune, as a bit of a homage to my childhood. I spent seven years playing that game so something about the default town tune (as I was a chronic town resetter so never made one of my own) is lovely to my ears. A sweet slice of my childhood. The theme is kind of the town I tried to make as a kid, it's basically just a pink paradise, pink flowers everywhere, pink paths and rows lined with trees. It's basically my dream town from my childhood, I have ONLY pink flowers and majority pink/white items everywhere... The main difference from my wild world town and my new horizons one is I chose who lives there now(pecan can break my heart no more lol)
Trying to match the season.
Started not a long time ago so flowers everywhere. Winter is coming so i have like 100 holly bushes. Hollys are everywhere. Maybe i should call it Holly island Trying to create a winter wonderland type of island.
My island doesn't have a theme. It's kind of just whatever I've felt like putting together, lol. I find it more enjoyable than trying to decorate my island around a certain theme and sticking to it tbh.
probably natural and pink? idk, it doesn't really have a theme, my vision for my island is mostly a bunch of cute and pretty things i like mashed together while keeping a foresty and natural look lol. i have a lot of respect for people who have a theme for their town and are able to be consistent with it
My new island will be sort of based of a movie I like. I try to recreate the characters and also decorate some of the houses in a way to recreate certain scenes from the movie. Thanks to the update, it should work now much better than before especially since I can use a ton of the new items (bless them for adding sloppy furniture and retro TVs).
i'm still working on all my little decor spots, but i want a nice rural/farmy theme. I'm working on setting up a farmhouse for my farm, and a little county fair style area.
i live in a rural area with plenty of huge farms and ranches, so i really love the country feel.
Mine is "stuff I like" core, lol. Colorful flowers, a neighborhood-y feel, walkable paths, a bit of visual storytelling here and there but no overt theme because those always make me feel a little too restricted.
i overall am going for a beach town sort of theme! though as you go north i'm looking to have a more natural, foresty and zen sort of theme. i want to add more spooky items and i cannot WAIT to get my hands on the ruins items and more moss diys because those will definitely go around there.
My island doesn’t have a theme, I just decorate with whatever items I like. It ended up being mostly cohesive without me trying just because it’s all decorations/items that I enjoy.
My town theme is very loosely based on Ancient Greece Mythology with the specific villagers I have on my island, and all the stone I have all over the place. It's a bit of a stretch but I'm a fan of it!
I have been so lazy when it comes to decorating my town. I kind of don't want to do a specific theme but I also want to build a fairy forest on one of the cliffs. I just haven't had the time to do it yet.
My island's originally supposed to be a jock's paradise but I scrapped the idea because many of my villagers aren't even jocks, or don't have the fitness hobby. But I kept my muscle lake and my flag to keep the spirit of Flexmont alive.
Garden town and old estates on a heritage site island off the coast of North America.
We have a ruined castle up on the hill, broken stone fences and overgrown hedge walls along the paths, a restored constellation church and a old lighthouse are keypoints for the town of Oldenbel. We also have cultural areas thanks to our Administrator of Culture & Arts; Snooty, with a beachfront rock garden leading to a cherry blossom hot-spring spa.
Since we have most of the fantasy villagers like Drago, Julian, Sterling and Knox. Our town tune is "Toss a Coin to your Witcher"
