Brick paths. REAL brick paths that you lay down with the trowel tool and that make the tippy-tap sounds when you run on them. Warp-pipe planters (I’d like planters to put flowers in in general). Star man lamps. Famous mushrooms. A Yoshi plush that I can put on a cushion.

Honestly, anything! The mario items sound fun, but I'd love if they came out with for stuff too. I personally would enjoy if there was some Splatoon items. But the thought of Pokemon Plushies seem amazing! Man, I do miss the fortune cookies, too. Hopefully they'll release some stuff with new updates!

Honestly just Pocket Camp items, maybe some stuff from NL. Buuuuuuut besides that, I would LOVE it if Nintendo actually started adding crossover items from different Nintendo franchises! Besides Zelda and Mario, I would be a bit interested to see what Pokemon might offer, as for lesser known franchises, I would like to see a Hotel Dusk, Rhythm Heaven, or Ever Oasis. I highly doubt we'll be getting any of those though, especially with Hotel Dusk since Nintendo never touched that game series ever again since 2010 *sigh*

Yesh, of the series most likely to make an appearance Zelda is on the top of my list. I feel like I’m legally obligated to have a master sword somewhere on my wilderness island lol

Maybe more like useful items from other games? Like bombs, boss keys.. yeah I guess like BOTW pick-up items. Maybe because we got the whole wand thing happening, some wands can be something from any Zelda games.

There is literally no way this would happen, but I'd love Fire Emblem crossovers. Even something as simple as adding capes would be awesome, but how cute would Falchion be on your back like it's sheathed?? Or a bow and arrow? It's so incongruent with ACNH it'll never happen, but I think it would be a really sweet Nintendo crossover. On a more realistic note, perhaps some outfits and wigs? Certainly some banners, like the houses from FE3H. And just to shoehorn them in there, some angel wings, like, uh, pegasus wings? I just want angel wings!!!

I'm going to keep my expectations low, as I was never really interested in the Mario items. If we get the Peach parasol back, though, I'll be happy.

@trashpedia unfortunately cinq went bankrupt years ago I don't know if the team formed or went to another studio.

this is pretty basic but like a few other people have said I would love some pokemon merch! plushies and apparel would be pretty easy to add to the game, and I would absolutely love to have pokemon hoodies or onesies to run around in!

I'd really love to see anything Kirby related in the game because I love Kirby so much. I think it'd be cute to have some Nintendo themed outfits again as well.

Yeah it's kind of crazy that there haven't been any Pokemon items in mainline AC games (just the stuff in pocket camp, which was frankly not great). Personally I'd cover my whole island in pokemon if they gave us cute little plushies or something.

Of course the charm of using furniture items to design your own Super Mario level never goes out of style, either.

i loved the zelda items and the pikmin planter - and pokemon plushies would be so cute! i also think it would be cute to have an "amiibo" furniture item in game and have it be a tiny customizable figure!

Definitely some Zelda items. Next year will be Zelda's 35th anniversary so it's highly likely we'll get some Zelda-inspired furniture in the game.
I'm curious to see what Nintendo will do with the Mario items. I don't think they'll be the same as New Leaf's, which is more than okay for me because I didn't really care for Mario-inspired items in ACNL.
