What language will you choose?

English. It is my native language after all. Though, I do know French, and Japanese to some degree.

As always, I'll choose French because it's my mother tongue. I want to understand every taunt in a correct way. But if we can change the language in game, I should switch sometimes to English, just to improve mine.

English. If we somehow could've had 2 islands, then I would've had my second one be in Japanese (I know some). It would've been a good way to practice Japanese and also experience anything that might be locked to setting your language to Japanese, like if they have language-specific events.

It's too bad that Nintendo locks us to 1 island per Switch, even if you buy more games.

According to my observations German translations are usually of funnier/quirkier( = for me higher) quality than English translations so I'll stick with German!

English since that is my native language and the only one I feel truly fluent in. I know a fair amount of conversational Spanish and I'm learning Japanese, but if I went with either of those I know I'd miss some things. One day, I'd like to know enough Japanese to flip my language over to that.

I miss it so much sometimes, and would love to chat with people who know the language?native or still learning!

I'm just as surprised as you are. I knew some people here know/speak German from signatures etc. but there seem to be more than I thought.
