What made you stop playing?

Granted that wasn't the only reason, it's a very repetitive game, but I would have played a lot longer if it wasn't for the grass disappearing. Worst feature they've ever added.

It's a fun game and all, but only when something rare happens, or you have like the best wi-fi friends ever you know, otherwise .. I actually stopped playing for a while, I think a week or so because the snow was so boring, I already caught every fish possible in winter and now I'm just waiting for spring. I just got the game so I can see myself playing it for maybe one year or so.

Ohhhh but I wasn't really discussing hacking.... just tempted. lol
I still am here. I just haven't been posting.... just lurking.

I do still play... almost daily. I keep busy with forever playing with my paths and town layout. I decorate for the holidays which keeps me busy in the game and enjoy visiting with friends.

Whether it's too childish or not kind of depends on the user, it's subjective. But I think that the grass wear is a serious problem, there is not anything positive about that. Nothing.

Grass dieing and repetitivness makes me want to stop playing, but ZH wifi keeps me going! (And the occasional good DLC which IMO America hasnt gotten in a long time, but depending on what the wild flower floor looks like might be our first in a long time.)

I had a huge collection of gyroids, but someone gave me a "user-generated" (know what I mean?) item, which erased my town along with my gyroids. So, yeah, that kinda demotivated me. :/ And honestly, I really don't mind the grass wear thing.

For me it's the repetitiveness, how the game felt like a chore, and how there is just too much to stuff to collect and sometimes it is stupidly hard to get.
