Stitches called me Prof. Pie, Raymond calls me platinum, while Queenie and Patty calls me dumpling. I also had the opportunity to have Sterling and Rocco use my custom nickname which is Gryphus 1 (a reference to the Ace Combat series).

They have picked tulip, lollipop, peanut, and I think one other that I can't remember now. I've been picking lately and always have them call me cat lady =^.^=

Mine was "superstar" for a while, as I didn't know that villagers would ask you to come up with one of your own if you rejected their suggestion. Now they call me "silly pup." :3

I don't like most of their suggestions. The worst imo was 'highway' given by an uchi and it was like, "how and why"

So I'm telling most of them to call me 'boss' since I'm a pirate boss, lol.

First was Chief, and I hated it. Now they mostly call me puddin'. I have 4 normal villagers so I get a lot of food names, which is okay by me.

Oh what is that why most of mine are food nicknames? Most of my normal ones give me nicknames (bc I love them haha)

I’ve been given many nicknames.. one of my least favorites was “rutabaga” and at one point I had like 3 of them calling me it lol. Currently my nicknames are “champ”, “sweetkins”, and “pumpkin”. I think pumpkin is really cute <3

willow, octavian, and diana call me tulip (my island's native flower) + bunnie calls me bunny
although i like my nicknames, i haven't let my other villagers call me those since i eventually want to have each villager call me a different nickname. maybe i'll come up with a food-inspired nickname next hm..

They don't seem to care. I don't think it hurts their feelings. It's funny, but I try to avoid upsetting the villagers too. I feel awful when I accidentally whack them with my net.

i’ve had a few but my current nickname is “mountain”,,, idk why i agreed to that LMAO

my personal favourite so far was burrito; zucker gave me that nickname and, while random, i thought it was really adorable, especially coming from him c’:

Shortly after I started, Fauna wanted to call me “butterbean” - but I didn’t like it. I didn’t know this was a nickname, and I thought she wanted to change her catchphrase, but I like her default catchphrase (“dearie”) so I wrote in “dearie” thinking it was her catchphrase I was changing and not her nickname for me.

Now, it’s not common for her to greet me with “Hey, dearie, dearie!”

The only other nickname I’ve gotten is Vitamin D, which I was given lovingly by Flip. It fits in with the jock personality, so I liked it, meanwhile Fauna and my other normal villagers I’m not so sure about.

Looking back, sometimes I think I should have let Fauna call me butterbean.

I feel that! I hate saying no to my villagers... I always buy their things/deliver gifts for them/etc. because how could I say no to any of them?

Sometimes they’ll make a little comment like “oh I thought it was a good nickname” but usually they’re ok with it! They’ll ask you sometimes what you’d rather be called when you say no

I tend to go with my own nicknames, but I have one horrible story above a nickname.

so, on Arctin, I got a nickname request from sterling. Being in a slightly silly mood, I suggest “mah boi” (CDI forever!) as my nickname. Then, a couple days later Knox suggests “Pup”, which fits my theme perfectly, but since I tend to press B WAY too quickly I missed it. So, I wait until I get another nickname request. BUT literally EVERYONE thought that mah boi was the best nickname for me and kept asking me to call me that instead of trying to give a new nickname.It was super frustrating, but eventually I buckled and let a couple call me that in hopes that a new request would cycle in. Lo and behold, who is it to suggest a new nickname other than patient zero himself, Sterling... I get him to call me Pup and spread THAT nickname to everyone.
